Just a small update, some of you may have noticed the website was down earlier today for maintenance. We conducted a bit of a facelift on the website to give it a modern and appealing look in this period, we hope you like it. If you notice any functionality issues with the website while browsing, please open a ticket using the support page's instructions and detail the issue(s) so we can rectify them as soon as possible.

One of Santa's elves will handing out gifts at random intervals over the next few days. The gifts will be handed out in Coronet while he roams around. Each time the Elf is around an announcement will be sent out through the in-game broadcast system.

Just some rules to keep in mind:

• The gifts from the elf are strictly limited to ONE per account. You are not to come back with another character to get more. All gifts given out from the elf are logged via account ID, if your ID shows up more than once when I check the log, you'll end up on Santa's naughty list. You don't want that. Bad things happen on the naughty list.

• Please move away from the elf once you have received a gift to make it easier to distribute presents.

• No PvP around the elf, all should be welcome without the fear of conflict this festive season.

Life Day is active again, if you have done it in previous years the rewards given are still the same as you would have previously been awarded.

SWG Awakening's New Launcher Public Testing Phase

The new launcher is now in a state ready for public testing. Please note that this does not mean it is replacing the old launcher yet, the old launcher will still remain the official production launcher until we announce otherwise. This is just to give those of you who are curious or want to help out testing stability a chance to use it before release.

While it has already gone through extensive testing to eliminate most issues, please do not replace your current launcher or install this to the same directory as the current one yet. If you experience any issues with regard to the new launcher while testing, please open a new ticket detailing the issue you are having (and the OS you are using). You can do this by following the instructions at our Support page in the navigation bar at the top of the website. Before doing so please make sure you have followed the instructions listed at the download page and have used the correct file to install the launcher.

Support for Linux and Mac systems is not guaranteed, neither has it been tested but it should theoretically be implemented. Windows is the intended OS for use with the launcher.

We have implemented a new support and bug ticket system for you to use when you need support with an Awakening related issue or want to report a bug. The website navigation bar and the following forum buttons; "Submit A Bug Report" and "Submit A Ticket" have been updated with links to information about the new system. This new system is implemented in the SWG Awakening Discord server. In the future we request that instead of PMing support staff with support related issues like was advised when the old ticket system was removed due to incompatibility issues, you now use the new ticket system.
