EPIC PvP!

{RP ON} At Approximately 1600 hours the Empire made known their discovery of our hidden bases on Bellicose island. An entertainer named Hawke arrived days ago at the shuttle port as a transient musician playing for tips and though we had our suspicions he behaved innocently enough. Simultaneously a medical supply merchant masquerading as a rebel sympathizer, named Typeaux, infiltrated our cloning center and med bay of the hidden base which was only moderately suspect. We in FEAR surmise that this is where he was able to discern the vulnerability times of our bases from some loose lipped member of the rebel regular forces. From there we believe he passed it in the way of a coded transmission to Hawke who sent the parcel via shuttle with the assistance of another person (identity yet unknown) to the BEAST base busting team. My intelligence indicates that the planning of this attack went back for weeks.

The attack was an example of the cold, unforgiving tyranny of the empire and involved several guilds. The empire knows that they are not match for our resistance fighters without jedi so they primarily brought fallen jedi pretending to be Sith. It was a glorious victory i'm sure as it only took 5 or 6 guilds to kill the one doctor that we had defending. It took them a considerable amount of time to set the sequence that would result in a catastrophic failure of our base. We had time to close the blast doors on the other base preventing them from it as well. Later after the vulnerability 3 of the emperor's alter boys returned to assault the other base, glow sticks in hand and we drove them back time and time again. Both sides grew in number and the battle was reminiscent of live as they pushed and we pushed back. Due to the multitude of fallen jedi assaulting and the integral toughness of our forces, there was very little actual killing, but the PVP was EPIC. You were either there or you wish you where. It is not the first black eye we have been given and i sincerely hope it won't be the last. The empire may have every advantage from numbers to jedi to support forces but it's not the size of the razor cat in the fight but rather the size of the fight in the razor cat that will win the day and knowing the brave men and women that i fight along side I think the imps need a LOT more advantages handed to them if they hope to stand a chance. {RP OFF}

I would like to thank the imps from Asylum, SITH, BEAST, DARK and Destiny for bring us some PvP. Bellicose was built for it, designed for it, and will always be glad to entertain PvP. I would like to encourage all of you to drop and defend bases because not only is it fun but it is the only sporting way to attack some one else's. Just think of it. Attacking anything in this game in a way where they can not hit you back is seriously frowned upon. I extend this to include base warfare because it should. We will never ban for attacking Bellicose and invite every one to come try us any time you like, It's something that we give to the PvP Community of Awakening. We need more givers so help us out, build a base, and lets have more epic fights!!!

To the rebels that came and helped from Kanjiklub and Lore I would like to thank you. We honestly hope you had a great time like we did and I'm sure the imps did. To the unguilded rebels that came to help us I would like to offer you a chance to do that on a more permanent basis. You are exactly the ones that we have been looking for.

We had a Blast and you are all welcome to come do it again whenever you like.

What started as just a "tour of troublemaking", turned out to be a massive battle at your place! Indeed it was fun and the turn out from the Rebels was awesome! I tried to clean up you guys when you were blue to me because BF and wounds FTL. ;D Well...everybody except the BHs...I like them crispy

<RP On> So has the Gimpire been squished just like that, again, and in record time? Even though they have like 500 dark Jedi sithies running around? There are less than 20 players on the rebel side that pvp all the time. Less than 10 in any given fight. I think the entire rebellion has like 4 Padawan's that fight and no knights just yet. Heck there are 3 knights and 4 Padawans just in the Sithie selfie tag alone. Please bring back the PvP we love a good fight. P.S. we still have a base in Bellicose just taunting you. Taking it would give you control of a planet at least for a moment

Seriously we have a lot of fun fighting you guys so please don't stop bringing it. I don't like this lul, it reminds me of the last time the imps just gave up (happens often), I don't like the fact that KK, LORE, and FEAR have taken so many bases unanswered (our role was not the largest so not trying to take the credit but we loved helping when we could) Right now the imps have a great firepower advantage, more than BDSM had when they battled us and CoA at the same time. Bring it to bear and lets make this the pvp server. If this server had PvP all the time no one would ever play on any other server. Carebears are boring... Just sayin...

Assuming you're referring to our bases that were blown up recently and us harassing your bases in the past, Sifu?

We haven't quit, we just can't muster the numbers on at the same time due to work related issues (extra hours, change of hours, whacky hours, and new positions) plaguing almost all of our guild this past month, 1 by 1. We have also tried moving the vul times on our bases around at different times to help negate the recent issues, but apparently a select group of rebels are collecting the Empire's handouts and so it doesn't matter. So unless you dirty rebels want to chip in and pay for your galaxy protecting soldiers' salaries instead of just collecting the Empire handouts...I don't see anything changing anytime soon in regards to increased pvp levels =/

You will still see some/all of us around when the schedules permit though, but the daily harassment and round up of you pesky rebels may have to be left to some other guild, for now...

P.S. I still run around alone and overt all the time to Cnet and Theed and I have not seen any rebels, besides Dunka and Squaleon, overt in over 3 weeks (my hours are all over the place though)...So if you're wanting pvp, just flag up. You don't need to be grouped, sitting in a base/behind turrets, and you also don't have to wait on us to be overt. SWG is what you make of it...if you stand around overt long enough, PvP will come to you, generally...well...it used to, now...not as much, but hey...if we all just run around overt all the time...someday we all have to cross paths, right?! And boom! PvP! =P

RL is such a pain when it interferes with our gaming. No beef here by the way I was just trying to encourage a little friendly blood shed. I have been looking for fights as well. I know us pesky rebs can be tenacious but don't let that dissuade you. We love a good fight and are always glad when you guys give us one. I think balance between the factions is the best that I have seen it right now and we just have to keep it that way and keep it going. You blacked our eye so we bloodied your nose time for you to give us a fat lip to go with that eye if we are going to brawl

The truth is that it's the biggest way to take the nostalgia player that joins for a little while to get an SWG fix and turn them into a regular long time Awakening member... The SWG call to battle is strong and a lot of live players can't resist it.

I want to complement SITH and friends for an impenetrable base defense. I had a great view of the fight on Blackjack and I have to say that you guys defended fiercely. We did not get the base down but the important part, to me at least is that both sides fought like dogs for a good long time in our attempt to make it happen. Xman held that front line like a BOSS, Stormy at his side, Zaner power healing every one and there where even a few non Jedi standing toe to toe with us.

On our side I have to say that Sevvy and KK did a great job bringing it all together and leading the assault. They have absolutely been a torment to the empire as of late and we in FEAR are glad to call them and LORE allies. Dunka was representing LORE and he brought an army, Well he brought him self, which is an army. He helped me hold the front of the line and demonstrated his awesomeness. Our healers were on the mark keeping us upright and in the fight no matter the insane damage they poured on us. Targets were called, CCd and killed expertly and the group worked together very well. (It's almost like we had done this before)

In the end the defense held fast but we had hit them hard enough that they did not pursue when we left. reminded me of the "what happens when an unstoppable force hits an immovable object" question. Answer, they go there separate ways after they test each other thoroughly.

My favorite part is that there was not an under dog The imps seemed to have the numbers and more Jedi but the fight was dead even. It was an evenly matched hard pressed battle that ground to a stalemate in the front hall of the base. There was no dominance just battle.

Excellent work every one involved. I have nothing but great things to say about it and the people that made it happen. If you missed it I can sum it up for you. It was a tiny taste of SWG Live PreCU PvP and it left me wanting more, much much more!
