Profession/PvP/PvE Senators

As the title says, I think dedicated players who are on often and have a lot of experience with the game, should be assigned too be profession senators and get a title of such in-game as well; They would be assigned to Moderate the profession forum of their senator-ship as well as helping new players with tips and advice In-game.

I understand what you mean, but aren't they usually an out of game forum thing?

We can do a forum thing if you guys want for sure. It might take a while to put together and it's really about people donating time. People could do multiple profession helpers, but you want to make sure you really have the time and the dedication.

As far as in game goes there is nothing keeping from players establishing a server political system. That's up to you guys to design and maintain. I did something similar to this the first year I played where we had a security council for the planet with lived on that was a factional alliance for player city/base defenses. It was a lot of fun because it had a minor amount of roleplay, but had more to do with PvP and city design.

I encourage you guys to do something similar or on a galactic scale. It would probably draw more people to want to play here, and politics on this scale can be fun for all types. You might be able to convince me and Ed to provide in-game titles if the system(s) you come up with are workable a successful.

Exa: Imperial Senate w/planetary governers and maybe a rebel alliance security council. You guys work that out, if that is indeed something you are shooting for. Let me or Ed know. I will be unavailable for a couple of days.

I like the idea. I am interested to see if it turns into something. It may be difficult for me to get involved though, since I'm already stretching myself pretty thin.

I will see what I can come up with and start possibly this weekend, it will be mentioned in general chat. --- it will require knowledge of the game, past experience with a set profession of your choosing, how to help people, the willing too keep the helper tag up at all times as well as current character progression presentation and professionalism.
