Are there any plans on fixing Carbineer?

Sorry I am new here, so if this has already been addressed, then I apologize.

Anyways, as many of you know, Carbineer has been plagued with issues from incorrect damage modifiers to mirrored abilities (Legshot2 and Legshot3 having the same modifiers).

Are there going to be plans to fix issues such as this, along with issues from other professions? I am a bit late to the party since I have been playing on SWGEmu's Basilisk server for the last several years, but the SWGEmu development team has a strict policy where they will not be tweaking any of the professions- they want it do be an exact replica of pre-CU SWG, bugs and all (at least until Publish 14.1). Personally, I could never wrap my head around this mentality because I think bug fixes would actually make the game a lot better. Pre-CU SWG was great, but it was plagued with a lot of bugs.

We do use the core code from the EMU, but with tweaks from our devs. They do modify and improve things. Carbs is one of those professions that does need some love. We have discussed some fixes and improvements to it. It is the only profession that cannot reach speed cap with SEA's from its class. It requires you to take BH along with it to speed cap. That is one of the major issues imo.

Anyway, welcome to Awakening. I played on Bas for several years myself, and have been here soon to be two years. I will never leave.
