Hello Awakening,

Happy 10th Anniversary to SWG Awakening (wow, we're old)! Over the past decade, we’ve built an incredible, tight-knit community dedicated to preserving the magic of Pre-CU Star Wars Galaxies. Along our 10 year history, Awakening has successfully brought players together in the galaxy we all love. We have had well in excess of 10,000 accounts login to our live play server and contribute to our little slice of the universe. To every player, staff member, and supporter (past and present) – thank you for allowing us to keep this world alive! Here’s to many more years of exploring, battling, and creating memories together. May the Force be with us all!

Three lotteries will be initiated during the week of the anniversary, each will be drawn in one week's time from the start date. Located at Coronet, Corellia outside the Starport.

Imperial Investigation (Scavenger Hunt Style Event)
After 4 year of investigation of the notorious Rogue Chiss Faction, the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) finally managed to locate their repair facility on Dantooine. Long suspected for passing off of their counterfeit repair tools as the best quality materials, the extensive collection of substandard tools and equipment has been confiscated & destroyed. In the process of the raid on Dantooine however, several members of the Rogue Chiss Faction have escaped Imperial detention. The ISB hereby calls on all loyal citizens of the Empire to assist in the acquiring the current location of these Rogue Chiss operatives. Grats to Par, the winner of the 2024 Grand Prize RogueChiss Event!

How it works; on Monday after reset the first 4 Rogue Chiss NPCs will be placed at an undisclosed locations throughout galaxy. A second batch of 4 Rogue Chiss will be spawned in around 2000 on Monday. Minor prizes are to be awarded to the first player to in-game mail Rogue the waypoint (X, Y and Z coordinates & planet name) for each of the 8 NPCs. The grand prize for the first person to in-game mail Rogue all 8 Waypoints (X, Y and Z coordinates & planet name). There will be a sample of the type of NPC you are looking for on display in a merchant tent in the Rogue Outpost.

Grand prize entry must include all 8 waypoints in one email!

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

A minor prize for the first character to find each NPC (one prize per NPC) and in-game mail Rogue its location
- Limit of one minor prize per account
- Minor prizes are a Lesser Prize Token

Grand prize for the first player to find and in-game mail Rogue the correct location of all 8 NPCs (player's choice of a rare vehicle from the list below). Grand prize entry must include all 8 waypoints.

Every participant who submits all 8 NPC locations correctly before the scheduled restart on the 11th will receive an accolade badge on their chosen character

Crafting Event CONGRATULATIONS to DRAYNE our overall winner of the ROCC Crafting event
The Rogue Outpost Chamber of Commerce (ROCC) requires your assistance in acquiring the following items to assist in preparation for the celebrations.

How it works; starting around 08:00 after reset Monday, the Event Coordination staff will announce the first of 8 crafting items^* to be created or resources gathered, and to be dropped off at a vendor located in the Rogue Outpost (-1020 -5572 Naboo). The final item must be crafted by the character submitting the entry (component pieces may be made by others, but must still meet any requirements requested). Items will be announced every 12-36 hours, until all 8 items have been listed, around 20:00 on Saturday. In order to ensure accuracy and to make things easier to track, only entries dropped off to the vendor will be accepted as valid. The time remaining on the vendor offering will be used to determine who was first to submit each item.

^*Crafting items will only need a skill level of Master Artisan or lower, the name of the item (and or subcomponents) will need to meet that which was specified by the Event Coordination staff, to prevent submission of items produced prior to the event.

  - Please Submit all 7 drinks (Aitha,Caf,Jaar,Jawa Beer, Ruby Bliel, Spiced Tea, Starshine Suprise) all named 10YEARS in a single container named 5 - (player name) NOTE All Sub Components used (Glasses) must also be named 10YEARS Congratulations to Fobeo for being 1st eligible submission
- 6: The RoCC Requires food for the festivities!
  - Please Submit all 12 food items available to craft (Blob Candy, Bofa Treat, Caramelized Pkneb, Carbosyrup, Crispic, Dough, Dustcrepe, Exo-Protein Wafers, K-18 Rations, Kanali Wafers, Teltier Noodles, Travel biscuits) named 10YEARS in a single container marked #6 - (your name) ALL Subcomponents used in the final craft (carbosyrup and dough) Must also be named 10YEARS
- 7: The RoCC Requires requires Fresh Fish to feed our guests!
  - 100 Units of the Current Spawn of Fish Meat from all 10 Planets, Submit Entries in a Single container Marked 7 - (your name)
- 8: The RoCC Requires a Comprehensive Fireworks Display to celebrate 10 Years of Awakening
  - Please Submit a Fireworks Show Package Named 10YEARS (this is a actual item) containing all 8 Fireworks (1/10/11/18/2/3/4/5) in a container named 8 (Your Name) - Congratulations to Mcrafty for being the 1st Eligible submission
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
- A minor prize for the first character to submit the item to the vendor (one prize per revealed item).
  - Limit of one minor prize per account to give all people a go at winning prizes
  - Minor prizes are a Lesser Prize Token
- Grand prize for the first player to submit all 8 items to the vendor.
  - First to get all 8 in will win the grand prize, time remaining on the final of the 8 items to be submitted by any character will be used to determine the fastest.
  - The grand prize is a resource deed as awarded through the veteran rewards system.
- Every participant who submits all 8 items before the scheduled restart on the 11th will receive an accolade badge on their crafting character.
Hidden Prize Boxes
It is rumored that some small amounts of counterfeit Rogue Chiss repair tools may have be lost in transport to the ISB facilities on Naboo. Any Loyal Citizen of the Empire who finds and collects all 3 (Armor, Clothing & Weapon) of these counterfeit repair tools, crafted by Rogue, will be recognized by the Empire for their diligent efforts. Simply submit the 3 counterfeit repair tools in a single bag, named after yourself, to our Agent Vendor in the Rogue OutPost on Naboo.

Once per day, Rogue or Koorlbardi will hide a single prize box (the treasure chests available for rent from the NPC Event Coordinators for reference). Inside theses boxes (8 total) will be placed a single Lesser Prize Token as well as a limited selection of the missing counterfeit Rogue Chiss Repair Tools for the collection badge quest. These boxes will be free-for-all, first come, first serve (they are limited to 1 item per character, the repair tool badge reward will only be granted once per account) They will expire 24 hours after placement, and they will not be replaced if they expire before they are found. To make things a bit easier, the prize boxes are located within city limits.
Collection of a set of all Three Repair Tools (Armor, Clothing & Weapon) Crafted by Rogue will receive The Good Samaritan Accolade Badge.

A Sample of the avalible styles of Prize Boxes has been dropped in front of the City Hall in the Rogue OutPost, Naboo. These are empty and will expire 2100 Tuesday

- The Fourth Prize box has been tracked to Naboo... im hidden inside a CITY without a Starport, yet there is a place for Starships to Hang-ar out in. Expired.
- The Fifth Prize box has been placed on Yavin 4. Expired
- The Sixth Prize box has been tracked to Restuss, Rori and is located in the northern end of the City. Expired.
- The Seventh Prize box has been tracked to Trade OutPost, Dathomir. Expired.
- The Eight Prize box has been tracked to Talus, Dearic Expired.
Galactic Home Show
As you should know by this time, the Galactic Home Show event has been running since September. For details, see this post

All players shall have the entire month of October to decorate their houses, and your houses may be PRIVATE for that month if you wish, but approximately Sunday the 3rd of November 2024, the staff will switch all entered houses PUBLIC, and they shall be public for the remainder of the month of November to permit the entire community time to observe and judge the houses.

The Judging for the Galactic Home Show will be opened via a Forum Post on or about sever reset on the 4th of November, 2024.

Clarification; You may vote in each of the three polls, for the house you feel best represents each category in the 2024 Galactic Home Show. The poll will be set to run for 7 days from the posting announcement.
Live Events
- DWB Jetpack and Mandalorian Helmet Run
  At 2100 EST Saturday 9th of November 2024, the Event Staff will gather a group in an attempt to craft a Jetpack in the Death Watch Bunker. Staff will provide the parts for the Jetpack & a Droid Engineer/Master Artisan, but NO FURTHER STAFF ASSISTANCE/DIRECTION WILL BE PROVIDED. It shall be up to the community to come together to accomplish this and figure out how to survive the attempt, as well as provide the team members required. On the Awakening server, the DWB is a challenging place to be, so this will require some conversation among the community, and the correct group mix, doctor & medics are a must. Again, no Staff intervention will be provided. If the group is successful, the resulting Jetpack will be awarded to the survivor of a round of Dice of Death! Gratz to Sodine, Winner of the JetPack!]
- If the Jetpack group is successful, a second run will be attempted to craft a Mandalorian Helmet. The staff will provide the parts and the required crafting professions, but it is up to the group to know how to run down to the correct room to actually craft the Helmet. Again, no Staff intervention will be provided. If this group is successful, the resulting Mandalorian Helmet will be awarded to the survivor of a round of Dice of Death! Reminder, to be eligible to get the anniversary rewards (badge and paintings) you will need to restart all Awakening clients and the launcher if you have both open, after the Monday, November 4th restart. This is so the updated client file downloads to your Awakening install.

All events (their details, rules and/or prizes) for the 10th anniversary celebrations are subject to change, we will endeavor to advise players of any changes should they arise.

Important Notice: Time zones can be tricky, and to make it even more interesting, our server time (US Eastern) will go from Eastern US Daylight Savings time (EDT) to Eastern US Standard time (EST) on Sunday the 3rd of November at 02:00. Please keep this change in mind when planning how you would like to partake in the anniversary events. As always, you can google the current time in New York City, USA if you wish to get a comparison for your location, just remember to adjust for any differences in Day Light Savings settings!
