Going to lose my house :(

I am wondering what the best way to get out of a big maintenance hole is? I haven't been able to play for a few months but want to get back into it and don't want to lose my house. I haven't figured out a way to make credits yet so I don't know how I'm going to get out of the 4k maintenance hole my house is in. Seems like I only have a few days left before it's demolished... what's the fastest way to make credits?

What are your professions?

Easiest way to get credits IMO is to have an advanced combat melee profession (master TKA, Master Fencer, etc.) and to do missions in a large solo group from an Improved JOb Market on Dantooine. Mokk missions will get you around 25-30k per mission plus tapes that you can sell. An entire buff you can get well over a MIL pretty easy now that we can select 4 missions at a time.

Even without buffs you can do delivery missions for two or three hours. It’s very easy to make money in this game. I would advise you to join up with an active guild and you’ll find most players will assist you. Some will help you get out of that hole you are in, some will teach you how to make money. The right professions and a good set of buffs and you will make 200k-300k credits per buff session easily. By the time you get used to making money you can up it between 600k-1mil per buff set on adventure planets like Dantooine or Dathomir.

Part of what I want to do is be able to leave the client running and idle. That would keep me online even when I'm working (I work from home), if I can do something that I only need to check in with once an hour or so that would be ideal. It seems like that's how docs, etc. work right?

But yeah I don't really have any developed professions at all, my character is super low level. I think I spec'd as a crafter of some kind, or started to after starting as something else. I am basically super inexperienced, but still love the game even if I haven't been active much, I think about it all the time. The guild I am in was active when I started but from the messages it seems to have died down, which is pretty sad.

Yeah man, you gotta play to earn money. There is no idle or bot money earning unless you sample minerals, even then it's time consuming and it requires attention even with macros. You need to get into general chat and talk to people. Even with leveling up a Doc you have to spend some quality time at the screen for training skills. Then you have to harvest resources to craft buffs or buy them, which means you have to make credits. There is no easy way out, it's a complex game you have to be present for to make any real progress.
