Hiya!

I'm here to have a look-see in the hopes this will be *the* place for myself and our small "family" guild. We used to play on Starsider back in the day and I had a very popular tailor shop. I'm hoping to find a server that has a similar community. There it was a mix of play styles there, but it included some RP. While I don't personally RP, I like being "RP support" so my shop actually became a destination for RP on Starsider. In other words, I prefer to be kind of like a walk-on character that adds to the story without being a focus of the story, as you might see on a TV show . RP is a major interest for a couple three people in our bunch though. Is there a planet or player city that has steady RP activity so they can scratch that itch? It seems that the action is not in the generic game cities, but in player cities on this server. As I understand it this server also runs mostly "vanilla" SWG which is fab. Is there anything else I need to know? Thanks for having me here and hope to meet people soon.

Welcome home! Glad you found the server. It is really the most supportive group of folks out there. Just note that most of the NPC cities, save Mos Eisley, are pretty just used as transit. The action is at player cities around the galaxy. If you have any questions or need help getting settled in, The Journeymen <TJM> are always willing to assist. We look forward to seeing you in game. We are always looking for good folks to enjoy the game with. We are Imp/Neutral.

Swing by Bedrock and see Absinthe. She has newbie starter kits. food, drink, backpack, etc...

You will really enjoy the server. Folks are helpful, and want to have fun. This server is a little harder than others, but it is balanced and fun. Check out the player cities. There are vendors all over the place. Bedrock kind of caters to the newbie crowd. Lots of starter weapons in vendors, foods, armors, etc...

Come check us out in Bedrock (Scientific Society) and Mos Crumpit (Industrial Society), Tatooine. We have all the basic profession trainers, buffs, vendors, etc... AND the most beautiful location on Tatooine! Come get your grind on!

I am the end game strategist and huntsmen officer in MG guild.
We have 3 cities on the server:
New Destiny on Corellia is located 1km south of coronet. I am mayor there on Inziladun. It is an scientific society which means 3 hour mind buffs and enhanced doctor buffs also. There are 24/7 buffers there supplied by Airy Bubbles the entertainer - her solo group with 3 faction pets, and Novro the doctor, supplying bivoli buffs reaching to 2800+ buffs in the beautifully decorated bespin cantina. New Destiny is known as a very busy business hub, being the home to a lot of the server best crafters and their vendors. You can find pretty much everything you need there. Also check out the wookie treehouse mall where you find a lot of vendors and the Yt-1300 mall which won the galactic house show while in town.

MG also has 2 other cities both located on Tatooine:
Tuskens Bane has just celebrated its 2nd anniversary in April. The mayor of TB is Laschana. It is a beautifully decorated and laid out city with many houses and guild halls that are wonderfully decorated. Tuskens Bane is a industrial society, meaning you get bonuses to crafting assembly and experimentation . Arykha is the full time entertainer there with an ATST solo group, and Arckaine is the doc buffer. 24/7 buffs are supplied in the brilliantly decorated cantina. Check out the mustafarian bunker and Caledonians incredible bespin shop which was a previous winner of the galactic house show as well as 2 very well stocked malls while in town.

The second city of Tatooine is the newly made Ghorfas' Ruin, which is located 900m from Fort Tusken. It is a scientific society with a resident doctor pookielamb and erkskine our 24/7 fully taped entertainer on the stage of the beautifully rustic designed cantina. It also is the home of 2 rebel and 2 imperial bases specifically located to the north and south of the city for faction grinding and base buffs. The city layout is currently getting set up with the city being split into rebel and imperial, and it will be a courtyard layout. With plenty of open area in centre of town to host events and pvp, pvp is openly encouraged here. There is a commando bunker mini mall set up that will have vendors very shortly and the cantina has 24/7 entertainer and doctor buffers also. Is home to the galactic house show winner anktons huntsmen hall which is a must see.

We do regular guild events such as pvp tournaments,quiz nights. And we have our Friday night krayt hunting. We have a lot of established players who daily go to geo caves,dwb,axkva and smc. They welcome people to join them to get involved and enhance themselves.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I've come down sick, so may not play much until I feel better. I'm planning to mostly roam around for now and gather resources. Speaking of which, is there something different about macros here? I am using a macro I've used on Basillisk, but here it's a little wonky, making one command line a statement, rather than the action. I've looked it over many times, but I am on medication that makes me a little woosy while I'm sick, so maybe I'm messing something up and not seeing the error too.

I might pop on Teamspeak when I feel less icky too.
