Discord Community Server

I've ran this idea by a few people and was suggested to bring it to the forums.
As always, I understand that some will have knee-jerk reactions to new software, but I'd really like to share the idea of a SWG-Awakening public Discord server for community building and to stimulate activity.

Yes, I understand that we have Forums, public TeamSpeak and a General (ingame) but we don't really have anything for out of game text-based banter. Pinging people via private chat through the forums works, but perhaps not as well as Discord could.

Most of the older or more obscure gaming communities these days have some sort of chat solution for out-of-game and I tend to get re-interested in communities when I see them liven up on chat. IRC is not efficient, other solutions aren't free.

I'd be happy to help setup the server, channels, roles, announcements and help moderate.
