Hello Awakening Staff and players,
Would it be possible to add another class to be hunted/termed on the bounty hunter terminals besides Jedi, just as Greedo and Boba tracked Mr. Solo?
Master Smugglers have plenty of skill points left over to make a hybrid build to defend themselves against bounty hunters.
I know staff is part-time but perhaps we can pull another dev from another EMU to help us with this process?
I am open for discussion, comments, and thoughts. Thank you all!

always open to bh hunting others besides jedi. tbh if a smuggler manages to kill a BH the bounty should come off the terms and the smuggler should get the payment. same should be true if a smuggler is grouped with a jedi then the jedi is removed from terms if the smuggler + jedi team wins. i have also suggested the idea that if a jedi is grouped with a 4xxx smuggler then their vis is reduced. in that same suggestion i added that any contraband ( spice or sliced weapons) or debt to a faction adds vis for anyone that is guilty and thus gets themselves termed for any bh to hunt them

I'd like to see some BH/PvP love for tokens. It seems as if everyone event hosted is based of PvE or trivia. If it's in the game, there should be some attention on it and not just one sided.

If you have any suggestions for ways in which you would like CSR tokens or another version of token implemented for PvP I am all ears, I know we have favoured the PvE and non-combat events as of the last few. Once I learn about NPC spawning for events and get permissions for that granted on the live server I am intending to run the occasional PvP event, I admit I have been a bit slower on figuring out the commands than I would have hoped due to time commitments elsewhere in life but I am getting there slowly. As for the main post, my own personal opinion (not Awakening staff's) is that player bounties other than jedi would be an interesting addition to the game. They should be limited to PvP deaths in my opinion (no link to PvE or non-combat 'law abiding' professions), to allow a person who has died in GCW PvP to put out a bounty on the person who killed them by putting forward their own credits as a reward which they could also boost by advertising an item reward on the forums if they choose. The smuggler suggestion is also an interesting one which would need some more exploration as to what would trigger visibility and what conditions the triggers come into effect under if the mechanic were added. As stated above this is only my personal opinion and not that of the Awakening staff.

Thank you for you opinion Cyclone. I made the Smuggler suggestion since it focuses on one class compared to all player bounties. We could make Smugglers have a visibility meter just like Jedi and the following would increase the meter over time:
- random searches by Imperial/Rebel troopers for Muon/Pixie (single items will give a smaller amount of vis compared to a crate)
- having slicing tools (this could be a form of "evidence")
- slicing terminals with npc's around (as in the smuggler is trying to hack the system)

I like the idea of other classes being able to have Bounties on their heads like Smuggler or ??? And I also like the idea of PVP Bounties like they had in the NGE if someone killed you in PvP you could use your own credits to place a Bounty on their head.
This would be a really fun new Aspect of the game for BH and other classes alike by having to watch your back an watch what you do!

At this point, I wouldn't mind another BH coming after me TBH, I just know that our devs are part-timers and coding something like that will take some time unless we get another dev from another EMU to help. I’d really like to see the PVP bounty system that was in NGE on live where upon PVP death you could post a bounty on the person who killed you. It would likely be a lot of work to implement but it would also give bounty hunters something else to do.
Star Wars universe speaking, the idea that bounty hunters only hunt Jedi is a bit odd, not a great way to make a living given how few there should be.

Not just that but it takes away from the gaming experience when you don't have such a high populated server. You have no idea how frustrating it is week by week to not be able to hunt a single person or even have PvP encounters. PvE'ers will always be happy since NPC's will always be there but yet the PvP'ers get flamed when they speak in general chat.
Every SWGEMu has something unique about them, we could do the same yet still keep it Pre-CU and hard mode.
