Moving robe modifiers to innate abilities

Would love to have robe attributes moved to a innate jedi attribute. i would love to wear normal clothing, something different then the bland robes. even if it was socket-less clothing only. also some repair ability to pearls would be fantastic. all the other professions have some capacity to have weapons and armor repaired even if it degrades them somewhat.

I'm not active staff, nor do i speak for the developers, but I blame the emu for this. I'm a cannon type of guy, and I believe that no piece of clothing should have magical abilities. Mechanical, biological enhancements, or modifications for sure. Not built-in Force abilities. More robe choices and sockets would be nice. It's fun to be a dreamer!

I second this idea. As you move up from padawan, knight, sentinel, etc. , you have the robe abilities innate to character. Wear whatever you want to, even armor, but the restrictions to use force abilities while armored still apply. Could be worth the pain suffering effort to modify emu code.

I agree. One thing Swg always killed me with about Jedi is the fact that in this time period, Jedi are incognito. So..... Robes as our only clothing option kinda counters the time period and purpose of order 66. I still think people should wear robes if they want but yes...... move those robe modifiers into something innate for us.
