G'day beings of Awakening,

It is time for the Galactic Home Show's (GHS) fourth round. The GHS is aimed at showcasing the wonderful decorating work the Awakening community produces in their abodes, shops and cities. This prestigious competition is intended to honour the crafters and decorators within the community, that you, the people of Awakening believe to be of exceptional talent. Please see below a list of former GHS winners:

We invite any and all to enter the marvellous decorating works displayed around the galaxy by sending in screenshots of a few of your favourite aspects in your build. After you have taken the screenshots just send them through to me, Cyclone, with credit to the appropriate decorator(s) of the work in the PM. Once we have collated the entries an open vote will begin in the last two weeks of the two-month competition span where one lucky winner will be decided upon by the Awakening community. This lucky winner will then have a write up of their piece featured on the GHS thread for that round, if they choose to make one. Winners will also receive a remarkable award from the CSR Prize Hall (a deco item e.g. a painting, plant or rug. Only one joint CSR prize per win), as a trophy of their work and a shiny forum plus discord title until the next GHS winner is decided, along with a permanent badge for the winners' player toon of choice.

Make sure to spread the word with your friends in game so we can get as many people to put forward their favourite decorating endeavours as possible, and promote awareness for voting when the time comes, because we know not everyone in the community visits the forums. After all, this is meant for you, the people who make Awakening stand out amongst the rest, to decide on who the outstanding decorators in the community are and acknowledge just how creative all of you can be.


Here's a more in-depth run down on how to enter the GHS and how it will progress. (Please be aware, we reserve the right to modify this at any time):
⦁ We are going to allow people to nominate work that has been created by others, just make sure to supply us with the name of the decorator(s) of the structure in your submission (only they will be able to claim the discord/forum titles, badge and joint CSR prize).
⦁ Send some screenshots and a short description of your favourite aspects of the build in a forum PM to Cyclone (Max of 10 screenshots). Please provide a way point to your structure including the planet so we can display it alongside your entry, this is so people can visit the work in order to help with their judging. If it is a private structure and you don't want people inside please notify me. Screen shots must be no larger than 800 x 600 for them to be included (please resize them before you send them through, there are many free online services that will do this for you).
⦁ Each person may submit multiple structures.
⦁ If your decorating piece does not initially win you may resubmit it in the future, all you need to do is let me know so I can re-enter it for you, if you do not notify me you wish to re-enter the work then it will be left out next time.
⦁ If your decorating work is voted the winner of this round, you may have another piece submitted after the next round of entries and judging is completed and be in the running to win another lot of shiny forum titles/awards.
⦁ Two weeks before the end of the two-month period I will cease taking entries and create a poll for you to vote on your favourite creation so make sure to get your entries in before the 16th of December, 2018.

When the time comes please judge based on which work you believe to be the best and not what others tell you to vote for so this process is as fair as possible. It is against the rules to try and direct votes towards certain entries.

Airy has said:

"This is a guild hall decorated by Airy. It started out as a place to store items and sell a few things. Once you start something its hard to stop and has very quickly grown to the point where I've had to move some items out of the hall to enable the decorations to continue."

"The hall includes the Zen room for relaxing while crafting, main hall complete with outfit display, bench and the famed Krayt tissue wall with a few rare named crystals on and under the counter. Off to the side is the kitchen."

"Not shown are the up stairs rooms with imp and rebel decoration and the work rooms below with complete crafting kits and supplies lining the wall."
