So One thing that the SWGEmu team made very clear is that they would never fix any pre-cu bugs... they wanted to created an exact replica of SWG pre-cu, bugs and all. Does the Awakening team plan on fixing bugs or making changes (that are within the scope of pre-cu)?

Just curious.

I know that they have fixed some of the bugs, and undone some of the bugs that the emu team is putting back in there. Our coders are giving us a stable, and improved environment over just going back to the bug-ridden pre-cu in an exact replica. There are quite a few unique things here that the emu does not have.

Is there a list of fixes and changes posted somewhere?

Check all of the patch notes to have a look at changes that is the list of changes.

Although there are occasionally hot fixes pushed out that aren't detailed there.

That's a lot to go over...

I meant were there any specific tweaks to classes that improve them from live i.e. fixing the bugs that were in the pikeman / carbineer class or buffing CH?

If there haven't been tweaks like this, are there tweaks planned for the future?

There are many tweaks to classes that have happened over the years, however I don't have a list made. Someone else may be able to help with specifics.

CH can now summon pets in combat instantaneously.

I’m not sure what has and hasn’t changed in the last year with development as I have stayed In my lane when it comes to changes. The emu team is developing the core game pre-cu and jtl. That includes bug fixes. Due to our dev team being small and limited time their focus has always been custom changes and content exclusively to this server.

Why spend time fixing bugs that the emu team not only has the larger staff for, but will do in the end anyway? I think the focus of any private server is contribute to the emu project when or if they can via the open GPL agreement, but to make the priority the environment of that particular server and it’s style of gameplay.

That's a really good point! I can't code, but what can I do to help the Awakening team?

Help promote the server in a positive manner among friends and on social media. Be kind to other players, make sure new players feel welcome, and give them a reason to want to stick around.
