SWG Experience(How long you played on live or in what update pre-cu/CU/NGE)

I started playing few months after the game launched and played until they pulled the plug. Was not a huge fan of how they changed the game with NGE but I could not just walk away. I started on Kauri and ended up transferring to Starsider. I decided to check this server out because I wanted the old feel and work for the things in the game like you had to back in the day. Hoping to run into some new folks to run with and just enjoy being back in the game.

Hi, its my first time here ... and i have a little problem

I download the Launcher, than to my SWG Folder, launcher says ok i see, than run setup and now i can klick at play button .... but nothing goes on ... i click at play thats all ... but game dont start ... anyone an idea for me ?

Hi Biker,

Welcome to Awakening, I hope you enjoy your time with us. This issue can usually be fixed by deleting all the files in your SWG Awakening game files install location with a .cfg extension in addition to the miles folder. Then closing and running the launcher again.

All good, just open up your launcher, click on the "SETTINGS" button. Once in this menu, look for "INSTALLATION DIRECTORY" (usually C:\SWGAwakening), this is the directory you need to go to in order to delete the files with the ".cfg" file extension I mentioned before, in addition to the "miles" folder. Once you have done this, just close and reopen the launcher to download the appropriate versions. There is no need to delete the launcher, or game installs. I hope this helps you.

If I then restart the launcher, then setup comes up. During the setup, he asks me where my original game is, then I show the folder with SWG and then get the message, OK, I found it. I'm not so sure I can make myself much clearer, but what I mean is locate the folder/directory I detailed above, of course having complete the setup through the launcher already. Once there, delete ONLY the "miles" folder and all files with a little ".cfg" ending, or file type associated with them, nothing more, nothing less. Once you have done this, close and reopen your launcher and it should redownload them except with the appropriate files versions.
