We encountered an issue with this patch. We will reschedule deployment after it has been addressed.
  • Unequip clothing and armor when it reaches 0 condition (when enabled). See notes.
    • This is not being enabled but may be in the future
  • Unequip clothing and armor when the player no longer possesses required skill. Currently Disabled.
    • This is not being enabled until a few more issues are fixed. When enabled, players that are currently wearing certain items they are not certified for will have them unequipped upon login
  • Vendors will not accept PUP'd weapons
    • Affects bazaar and player vendors
    • Currently listed items will not be affected until they expire. Use of the auto restock function will unequip and destroy powerups installed on listed weapons.
  • Allow repair of disabled vehicles
    • Any disabled vehicle can be repaired at a garage for a cost of 100k
  • Skill based socket calculation
    • There is still a bit of RNG involved but the calculation but more weight is given to the skill of the crafter for more consistent results
    • Credit to SWG Infinity
  • Allow staff to bypass name filter
    • No. This is not so we can grant requests for offensive names. Name change requests will continue to be denied 99% of the time.
    • Primary reason for this change is due to staff frustration renaming event objects
  • Allow normal resource harvesting rates from creatures inside caves
    • We did not see a need to continue with the limitation
Zero condition clothing/armor notes: We are aware that many players have concerns about this being implemented but we have no intention of blindsiding the population with a nerf to their gear with little warning. Our goal is not to make things harder for everyone or cause an abrupt impact on characters by taking away fully taped clothing. In the near future we will be updating the SEA drops to include new mods, remove broken mods, and adjust the drop rate. Only after that update has been implemented will we consider enabling this feature - giving everyone an opportunity to prepare for the change. What we hope to accomplish when/if the feature is enabled is to create more demand for tailors and SEA farmers. Rather than plugging tapes into a belt and never having to worry about them again we want to see people repairing and replacing them just like most other items in the game and see a real market evolve based on supply and demand.

This update has been re-pushed, without any of the dequip code active.
One additional thing was added:
  • More race track logging (Server Event Staff).
    • Added logging that server event staff can access to help facilitate events beyond the one day length that the in-game logging system provides.
