I decided to dust off my old cds and install this great classic. Thank you for keeping it close to the original and keeping this server going. Editing for more information
My main will be Toevia Oumo and Ithorian soon to be Master Ranger. I was going to roll a Rifleman like I used to play on Kettemoor during live but I decided to give the ole power hammer a swing
I will be rolling alts but none for now as I want to focus on just one to start with.
I am partial to Rori but it gets lonely.
I started playing SWG a couple months after launch. I remember having to run everywhere, which is another reason I chose Scout/Ranger for their terrain negotiation. I still remember when they introduced speeders and the parking lot the appeared before the shuttles due to them not despawning.
The MMO experience was new to me then and I never looked at the forums to see that changes were on the horizon. I had just earned my Master Ranger title one night and went to bed. I was home on military leave and had to fly out the day after and I could get one last session in. I logged into the game that morning to the new game experience and I was "were the hell is my Ranger". I was not pleased but I did give the NGE a chance but it just wasn't the same. IMO, it tried to be to much like WOW. I did like the new housing ideas though.
