I noticed something strange about DNA sampling. I started a character on Bioengineer back before the big patch and dropped it 2 days later because it wasn't the right fit for that toon. In the 2 days i was a BE, i did 2 only 2 boxes of DNA sampling. The DNA I received ranged in quality from Very Low to Very High.
Recently made a new toon to be a BE. I just completed DNA Sampling 3. I have not got a single DNA sample above Average Quality.
Did something change on the server in any of the last two patches that effected DNA sampling? I can find nothing in the patch notes. What is the correct behavior for DNA samples? Are high Quality samples only supposed to come from high-end MOBs, or is there a bug that i should be reporting?

It's an old bug, Novice BEs could sample at a higher quality than those with the first box. A big chunk of your DNA harvesting skill comes from that tier 4 box and master. After you get master you'll get the high quality samples.
