Guess on the last step toward jedi

I know there is a growing number of people stuck at 6/7 on the scale. I was just trying to think about random things it could possibly be... What about factions not just rebel or imperial but the other ones...perhaps getting the correct ones to either +5000 or -5000 just a thought. Has anyone tried to get all of them at some point to 5000?

You can almost guarantee it is PvP related.
Devs want Awakening to have PvP (Which is probably why Knights are perma Overt)
Probably explains why there's no Jedi as no-one has meet the PvP requirements yet.

btw, has anyone actually been confirmed on a step 7?
my understanding is everyone is at 6

With April Fools im not sure what to believe anymore lol.

Wouldn't it be funny if you got to stage 7...

Then you had to do the village by getting all the XP for the 6 bars of skill points...
Then you have to kill Mellichae etc...
Then you unlock Padawan...
Then grind out to max XP with max skills...
Then do the Knight Trials..

Oh the Joy!

You are correct. Knights were perma overt post publish 9. Before publish 9 they would get TEF from using saber or powers regardless their rank.

If this is the case then whoever has the best DB macro will unlock jedi which is pretty dumb ... cause player XX could do all the damage and because their lag decided to spike for a split second miss the DB and joe schmo walks up and DBs lol.

i don't profess to think anything any more .. i've grammed 7 months of game content into about 60 days. So I think nothing at this point, except I am probably no closer to unlocking than I was when I started

i dont even bother anymore myself. i've been stating this for a couple of months now, and i'll state it again...

The BEST way to unlock jedi and NOT hate life at the same time... DO NOT TRY to unlock. Screw around and play as if this were a non-jedi server. Before you know it, you're standing on top of a mountain of rebel or imperial corpses [depending on faction of course] with a nice rave stick in your hand that can cut through duralloy like its butter :p

As it has been stated many times that unlock progress will be different for all,
I would assume that the "pvp element" of progression would be unique.

which rules out "XX number of DB's"
or "XXX amount of pvp damage"

I think it could be along the lines of "has killed XX players on planet XXX"
AND/OR
"has killed XXX tkm's"
AND/OR
"has killed XXX Mdoctors"

where all of those variables could be different for each player

just thinkin out loud.

well if that is the case then i don't see anyone unlocking in the next year. Because it's gonna really be hard to find ... has killed Master Dancer on Dathomir. Or has killed Master Shipwright on Endor. So lets hope it isn't that, and if it is anything to do with pvp that perhaps total number of kills. How many of you see a Ranger out pvping? or a Squad Leader who isn't afk in a house spamming commands who will not be accessible to kill.

THE ONLY way this will work is if TEF is for sure in the game if this is truly the missing link for everyone.

Also pvp although uncommon being the missing link to unlock would seem pretty silly to me BECAUSE it'll just be a shift from grinding other stuff to PVPing then everyone will unlock and quit pvping to grind their template and PVP will die again, gotta be a happy medium somewhere.
