I've seen a lot of people lately asking about what kind of things junk dealers take and who takes weapons/clothing etcetera so I've taken it upon myself to compile a list of the junk dealers locations and what kind of things they will buy. If I happened to miss one, lemme know and I'll add it to this list!

Another great job! I've mentioned some of the basics on Junk Dealing in the Easy Money guide, but having the waypoints all in one place is fantastic for the new folks! I don't have waypoints but when you get a chance you could also add:

• Generic Junk: - Corellia/Coronet: the guy/gal that hangs out just outside the Spaceport (to the left as you exit port, follow the wall...)
• Weapons in general can be dumped at the NPC city Guild Halls that have all the Combat trainers... most (but not all) have a Junk Dealer inside one of the rooms, usually the one to the right with the Scout Trainer...
• Tatooine (while doing Jabba's Themepark) - nearest Generic is by Cantina in Wayfar(800m from Jabba's), Weapons can be sold to the NPC immediately inside Jabba's Front Door... look for "Ollobo"
• Clothing - Corellia - most convenient dumping grounds are either Bela Vistal, Shuttle B, follow staircase to bottom, dealer on your left, can usually make it back to the shuttle before it takes off again... or Tyrena, Shuttle B, go around to rear of shuttle, dealer back there under a tent, again, you can often make it back to the shuttle before it takes off if you don't waste too much time... Usually have all my alts dump it one toon, she fills up her bank slots with Clothing, when it gets full she hits one of the vendors above for thousands of credits for a big turn in (25-30 items @ 200-300cr each)

EDIT: Did some quick checking on the Internet, and found a couple references to the one on Dantooine (various spellings of Quiche Marae) that claim he/she may have bought holocron splinters at one time... perhaps it was broken back in LIVE, or not implemented yet here, or like the Jawa Traders junk vendors, you have to be a certain profession/jedi level to interact with them...)

What about hyperdrive parts? I have a slew of them, but can't seem to find any junk dealers that take them...

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say they are only useful as decorations in a house/building... other than that, destroy them... Usually you get them as NPC lootable junk, but think there are a few static NPC quests (Nobles) that give them as a final reward... not sure if they are any different than the regular junk loot version (e.g. like, does the description say something specific to the quest, making it a more interesting decorative item...
