To the player who made the dummy toon that logged out in the squill cave. Its ok if you want to play dirty and try to get any jedi there vis.

personally I wouldn't grind jedi in the squill cave..there's the hermit down there that'll give any jedi vis and it's just too much of a chance that random jabba npc's, tuskens and jawa's that spawn on top of the cave. There is no difference in cave depth so if you're in a cave and something spawns on top of the cave it's as if you're right next to em. So yeah...not worth it to grind there, at least in my opinion

That's not cheating. Logging a toon off somewhere you think Jedi might be is not against the rules.

Laying a trap for your prey is not cheating. Pretty smart actually. I wouldn't advise anyone to level in a cave. Only two ways out, the door or the cloner

It will affect anyone doing the Hero of Tat quest if a player is still in the cave. Makes the rescue impossible.

The rescue doesn't happen in the Squill cave. Thats the Sennex cave. The Squill Cave is the one with the Hermit and you know... the Squill

I would agree the Squill cave is not a good place for Jedi to grind. As for players and where they log off, there definitely would be no rule.
With that said, it is using OOC mechanics, if it is being done for that reason. However, proving that is the purpose and intent is impossible.

For the sake of clarity, even if exposing a FS was the intent, are OOC techniques like this something to be avoided?BigQEd wrote:With that said, it is using OOC mechanics, if it is being done for that reason. However, proving that is the purpose and intent is impossible.
EDIT: Disregard, post was already clear. Carry on!

I have received a few complaints about npc's spawning above caves and players logging on/off in them. I will remind everyone caves are not the best place to grind when trying to avoid Bounty Hunters. If you get visibility it's a risk vs reward situation. Is it really worth the possible xp loss? Have fun, be safe.

I don't understand the complaining. People here are much nicer than on live and I can't say for sure but it seems like vis is a lot more forgiving here as well.

Was the respawn timer on the mobs inside the squill cave doubled?

1. Jedi are the Alpha's
2. Jedi are to be hunted in this time period.
3. Bounty Hunter's hunt. Jedi are the hunted.
4. NO.
