New Armor Skins

After wearing the same armor for 12yrs, lol, I figured I'd ask you guys for some new armor skins. (The great thing is that you can add pretty much any style you'd like since you have soo many options from the course of the live service). I wouldn't mind seeing the faction armors and most all of the rebel/imp faction armors in game. I would also LOVE some other "BH" armor skins like the one from live as well as some Expanded Universe armors as well. Since you asked for new suggestions, I figured I'd through this out there. Not sure how long it would take to re-skin composite and the others, however.

Thanks for creating Awakening too while I am thinking about it. It's been authentic so far!

That would require client-side coding which is not legal. That's why you have modders that come up with modifications to enhance what you see client-side.

Ah, ok. I fig'd since it was "abandoned-ware" that you guys could push mods from the entire series up through JTL?.

Nope, client side mods are up to the individual to install and tinker with. That's a whole nother level of support we don't want to get involved in. We don't know all the legal ramifications when it comes to the client and we feel donation money is better spent in maintenance and improvements. Lawyers already make enough money.

Who said they aren't? People just haven't gotten those rare drops yet.

you know how the gungan head architect schematic works with an appearance drop down? what if that was done for one of the advanced armors? where you make the core the same way but Choose from multiple skins?

I like the way the NGE did different armors. It was aesthetically nice from a roleplay point of view.

What about adding a customization tab?

One of the few good things about the NGE (and the best IMO) was adding a customization tab. Where you could wear your armor to get the stats, but then the 'invisible' slots to customize your character better - wearing clothing or other armor you usually never see, such as bone, mabari, etc. Could this type of cusmotimzation be brought back into the PreCU system?
