Yes...bobaphat wrote:Just for force regen that's it.
It does not seem to help Force Regen, having a MTK grinding Jedi and when they use TK meditate the force regens quicker.

It doesn't add a force regen stat...however I know I regen faster in force meditate other than sitting or standing to generate the 7100 max force pool i have now. I would /peace out when Im fighting krayts with a heavy force cost saber, meditate and then go back in while my swordman was tanking.
A TKM would have a vastly less force pool...so it may appear faster but I dont have any stat proof that TKA meditate (Akin to sitting) or Force Meditate adds a force regen stat.
Probably doesn't matter much considering a /forcechannel macro or novice brawler being the choice Jedi skill.

Pretty sure it's based on your force regen rate, so a tkm/jedi isn't gonna see much benefit.

Force Meditate seems a little weak compared to Live does it not ?

When people lvl Jedi they often choose some Normal skills to help the grind. Now lets say Harry Potter is MTK lightsaber master and 0004 enhancer and has just depleted all of his force killing the Squill cave. He will regen his Force faster using TK meditate than Force Meditate. (or so it appears)bobaphat wrote:Pretty sure it's based on your force regen rate, so a tkm/jedi isn't gonna see much benefit.
I was just wondering if anyone else found the Force meditate skill a little underwhelming ?

We have 24 more skill points in Jedi from Live. So thats just more base force pool and regen.NiEut wrote:Force Meditate seems a little weak compared to Live does it not ?
There was a skill point requirement for knight/templar which made it impossible to have nonjedi skills with your knight/templar.
Each Rank of FRS granted regen and more force.

Force Meditate________________0__Increases Force Regen rate by 3 times, can't be used in combat.
Basically, if you have 7250 force and a regen of 66. You will generate 66 force passively over 10 seconds. You wont see large jumps because regen is broken into 2 second ticks, so continuing with the example you would regen 13.2 force per 2. Using force med for regen would jump to 198 (66x3) and your per tick regen should be 39.6. It's exponentially better for a templeted toon versus someone still grinding.

Following this example, you passive regen from boxes is 32 which mean you gen 6.4 force per 2. Force med at that level with bump your regen to 96 or 19.2 force per 2. Granted with this example you have less overall force to regen.NiEut wrote:When people lvl Jedi they often choose some Normal skills to help the grind. That could be why Guildy is complaining about it hes not got much regen to multiply by 3. The TK meditate regening force has spoiled people.

Comparatively it should feel about the same at all levels because as the force power rises so does the regen. With quick math your half temp jedi is just over 16 minute regen time base and just under 6 minute regen time with med from empty and no robes. Those values are almost the same as someone at full template, from my first example of 7250 the base regen is 18 minutes with a 6.1 min med regen.

You might be right that TK med regens faster overall but the overall power trade off would be extreme.NiEut wrote:That could be why Guildy is complaining about it hes not got much regen to multiply by 3. The TK meditate regening force has spoiled people.

TK meditate will no longer give force regen here soon, this is a bug and is currently fixed on Test Server.
