[PVP Tournament] Are you interested in Duelling for Prizes?

Hello PvPers

I'm looking to find out who would really be interested in some PVP Contest Events.

I'm looking to host some very soon! There will of course be very nice prizes!

From the categories below - could you reply with the ones you would be interested in competing?

For CAT D - please post your guild Tag too

Category A = 1v1 - Prize for Winner (knock out rounds) (non-jedi)
Category B = 2v2 - Prizes for the winners (knock out rounds) (non-jedi)
Category C = 3v3 - Prizes for the winners (knock out rounds) (non-jedi)
Category D = Guild vs Guild (numbers will depend on the day but must be even - for example CoA have 8 vs BDSM 10 - it will be 8v8) (League point system Win = 1 point, Lose = 0 points) - Prize will be an amount of credits for each competing guild member (jedi allowed)
Category E = Jedi vs Jedi (1v1) - Prize for Winner
Category F = Jedi vs Jedi (2v2) - Prize for Winners
Category G = Mixed Doubles (2v2) - you will be randomly paired with another player against other random pairs - Prize for Winners

On Scylla during live I coordinated with a friend a weekly "Fight Club" thing... Had prizes consisting of credits, loot, and crafted armor/weapons. We had an average weekly turnout of 15-25. The guild hall we hosted it in was set up as a display hall for bragging rights and acted as sort of a "dojo". We had a few vendors for battle supplies and other useful items. There was both a ranged and melee bracket, and we provided sets of "tournament grade armor and weapons", so each player was on an even playing ground, equipment wise... Choice of food was up to the discretion of the duelist.

With all that said... I would ABSOLUTELY be ecstatic to be a part of this. ;D

...I would like to add that this was pre-village, and more-so pre-Jedi craze... So we didn't have Jedi attending. We also only hosted 1v1... However multi-man fights would be interesting, as a display of teamwork and class-interaction between player templates would be extremely intriguing

Though maybe Jedi tournaments could be less common? For a Jedi-free haven so those of us who prefer to avoid the glow sticks can have a vanilla experience.

Personally I'd prefer Jedi not be a part of it, but outside that I love the idea.

It sounds interesting! A little out of my comfort zone, as I didn't really do much PVP but sounds quite fun! I could get into this as I didn't mind friendly duels.

I'll speak for COA when I say we will be in for guild vs guild and I'd be in the others I have to adjust after work I'll let you know which other ones but extremely interested.
