As for the rose colored glasses I took them off even though they were a gift, and it still looks like someone complaining about a class being OP. Jedi are Alpha. A lot of classes are fairly useless vs Jedi. However a CM can still throw heals for the group and nuke other players.... so I wouldn't say useless at all. 1v1... is different than group battles. And honestly I want Jedi to laugh at CMs because of the way they are overpowered vs most other classes.
The bigger issue with CMs, is overall strength of their poisons. Granted, CM is a nuker class in PreCU... but the nukes can be game breaking for others. CMs aren't supposed to be Alpha and they are fairly easy to obtain.
In the end, CMs have a place and use... they just don't get the I WIN button, sorry.

I am just wondering though... are we all sort of following a dream of being so much better than the next one... personally would say Jedi would be good but should be a more vanity class alongside of acquireing let us say a full set of Mandalorian armor.
With vanity class Jedi idealogy in a figure of speech you would get all the possibilities of all other professions but just with a lightsaber and maybe a 10% better than everyone else bonus, yes I know it might not go well with the pre-CU ideal of pwnage.. but again different professions such as CH and others just had to take the nerf bat in a figure of speech, also well am more alligned towards a more even and interesting gameplay, likewise adjusting poisons and everything else, please don't scream the CU or NGE with this as the essense of the game will be kept intact and difficult alongside with it, I am more thinking of the actual problems of the past and SoE's do's and don'ts that always had SWG in a broken stage no matter how we view everything.
Drop the forced BHs or allow BHs to hunt all classes with visibility only gained from PvP, maybe add a player bounty system if you was killed by X player for bonus to the one getting the BH kill in on it.
Remove the deathblow move, if you get incapped in PvP you die instead of in some cases painfully have to get up 3 times in a row before it kick in.
Other things could be to obtain alpha class on any combat profession Alpha rifleman, shoots faster hits much much harder and additional armor/force armor penetration or something along those lines, would of course require master this or that to obtain it and if dropping class would have to get back alpha stage, this could be for keeping the appeal of all professions better especially for the lot of people who am not even interested in becoming a jedi.

You know in live CM were nasty, but not unbeatable. Jedi would mop the floor with them. but everyone else was in a bind. My first toon, Mitras was Rifles/CM/Doc. There were only 4 people I couldnt handle that were non jedi, and all were skilled pvpers (Raspindiss, Araju etc.) and had the template which countered mine (stacker/doc). With no dizzy/kd def I would in a bind when I went up against those guys 1 v 1.
I havent played a CM here yet. Is there no counter here, like there was in live?

Exactly. They did a great job imho on having a countermeasure for pretty much everything. Just because you can counter something, doesn't mean it isn't broken.
If you want to think pre-cu SWG was perfect, by all means continue to think so but fact is, it wasn't. We have the opportunity to make it better. This is imo, one of the biggest and easiest changes to make in an effort to improve PVP as a whole.
This would also not be a nerf to the class but to loot. CM would still be in a very good position on the totem pole.

Another thing - maybe some of you should go to the Geo cave. The fire spider can be killed in about 2 minutes by a jedi and has basically 0 chance to kill you unless you're an idiot. Dropping arguably the BEST pvp weapon in the game. A swords/doc can do it in under 5 and it's even easier fyi.
Also, as mentioned in the thread (Read the thread please), a MCM can still get 2k dot ticks without venom. They just have to press 6 buttons not two. Which doesn't seem like much but 40+? seconds to apply 2k dot damage vs what, 12? seconds? That's huge.
Lastly, i'm not gonna bother replying to "lolukencounterit" posts anymore. That's not the point and you know it.

Let me state that Poisons shouldn't stack like they currently do (it's an EMU bug).
