C:-) Look, this will honestly benefit BOTH the Crafter player base, and the combat... it adds more items to make and sell, and more items to buy and use.. Plus it adds a real stance for people wanting to show their sidings, heck maybe even have more people PvP, now I understand the Empire has the Stormtrooper and the Rebel Marine, I'm not saying add all the faction armor but maybe add 2 more.. from a (community/dev poll) on which two new faction armors we'd like to see, and talk about why making them Craftable is even fields for all. and yes what about the "neutral's" Simple just select 2 non siding armor types., this way its not everyone running around in Comp but, you see Stormtroopers.... marines... maybe scouts/shock... maybe assault armor. or even for now Just adjust the 2 current faction and see how it goes?

P.S!! I say this with love... the marine helmet...

My feeling on factional armor is it should be a two-prong item. You get "A" or "B" components by loot drops and or plenty of faction points and buying them(not all). More rare items drop off opposite factional rare or high-end factional mobs.

Then those of that faction that can craft take the components and schematic and craft those items. Just and Idea. It needs a lot of detailed thought.

Honestly, just about any craftable faction armor would be cool as long as its a viable substitute to composite (whatever) armor sets

Great insight!, I will add ideas to what you and your team are thinking about, I guess the more shaped it sounds on paper the better it will be to write, "code" But I do like your idea better then my simple Idea, your idea grasps content with play, while mine only holds content, interesting look on the matter! that being.

Also your thoughts on Matching the Marine helmet with the rest of the armor?

Though I would prefer to wear faction armor, I always hated the fact that wearing it meant sacrificing protection.

Would it be possible to maybe to add an optional "faction layer" component to current armor schematics? If so, that component could be created using schematics/items that are looted or purchased from the recruiter. Then, the AS would have the option of creating the pieces as they normally would, but could apply the factional armor layer if desired.
