Time to Remove Heal BF from terms.

its time for Heal BF to be removed from the Enhancement Terminals, When you dot Creston with a Fire dot in his town, then he Force run 3's Away to an enhancement terminal just to heal the bf instantly (note you can do that While in combat as i was still in combat with Creston at the time on my screen.) and then Force run 3 away again is retarded its no longer being used by new players as intended.

i wasnt in combat cause i had bought a ticket to get out of there. I was waiting at the mos eisley shuttle while you were at the starport next to the terminal guarding it and I like juked you around the med center with force run 3 as you approached me at the shuttleport and got to the terminal.

considering its a fire dot that that at 700 bf hits me for 2.7k a tick...I went to someplace where there was water on tatooine to extinguish the flames and ultimately win the fight.

and i used the double bladed saber.

2) Creston, were you TEF'd? (I agree the terminal shouldn't be able to be used while TEF'd)... that said if not TEF'd he could just as easily have a doctor heal him.
3) Tarnwar, water is unfair for BH's... I'd think we would want to remove all the water in the world...

1)Yes, Watched his black bar on health pool just vanish.

No. Its a part of the game so we just have to live with it...like living with insane fire damage on a looted weapon and camping the enhancement terminals for the jedi mark doesn't have a chance to heal.

Yes I used the Terminal.
I was not in Combat nor was I on fire after the 4 minute or so dot finished off and never has it been said that while BH tef could I not use that terminal.

If i had shuttled to bestine instead of juking linadra and the TEF was gone by the time he reached there, was it okay for me to use the terminal then?
If I had logged out in the wild came back 10 minutes later and logged back in and then used the terminal is that okay?

Could I have just ran around mos eisley until the tef was totally gone while /wave at linadra who would be out of range to reapply a tef? Yes.
Could I have just used the ent group in mos eisley? Possibly, its not the wounds that are the issue, its the extreme damage done to the player.
Could I have just gone off planet and went to diarmid and listen/watch to jastiri from behind and outside the cantina, while linadra is chasing me? Yes

- I don't think fire dots damage should increase to the 2.7k to 3.1k damage tick at all no matter my battle fatigue. (It was never like this on live and I fought some of valcyn's worst dots)
- I nearly tripled incapped on the way to mos eisley anyway, and ironically had linadra "beaten" me at the water hole, the mission would have been a wash cause of the triple.
- This is only an issue because that particular fire dot, is an "I Win" over all players without 0200 or 0400 Jedi Healer.
Which I suppose I'll just pick up at some point soon, with my extra 24 points than the force intimidate i hardly use.

When linadra "found me" the third time at the water hole...my wounds were 999 and my bf was 400 and that is because i reengaged him in eisley and force run 3 away....I don't see what the issue really is other than the fight was not really on his terms but my own terms and when that happens forum posts tend to show up.

In Conclusion:
Sorry, I used force run 3 to escape linadra when i was tef'd outside the cantina and run from Dune Sea Citadel to Mos Eisley, that took a while, 2 incaps.
Sorry, I used the enhancement terminal to clear my battle fatigue and wounds while waiting for the tef to go.
Sorry, I found a counter to Linadra's "I win" Fire dot.
The mere fact that this weapon can hit up to 2.7k to 3k when someone has 700 bf is a greater imbalance than any use of any terminal would do.
Hardmode is hardmode but double standards shouldn't fly.
If these dots are to remain they way they do now then I don't see the problem using the terminal to clear wounds and BF out of combat because I was being clever and they exist just as Dot Weapons Exist.
Make them so when BH tef'd Jedi can't use them, I had at least three other things i could have done in this particular fight to have the same outcome of me winning that BH fight.

1) Jedi will not be nerfed. (ever)
2) Terminals need changed so they can't be used while TEF'd.
3) Terminals will keep the options they have. Pricing may change.
4) DOTs are an issue. This is known. This includes CM poison stacks.
5) While BH's need to be good vs Jedi it should be MBH attacks that give them the ability to fight the Jedi. i.e. Better hit rate vs Saber Block and LS Resists

Just so we're clear:

When Creston complains about something someone else is doing while hunting him, a hot fix is published.....

But when someone complains about Creston doing something, items or skills that person is using against him needs nerfed?


I'm sorry but I don't completely understand this logic.

I can honestly say this has nothing to do with it being "Creston" (the insinuation actually kind of bothers me). I do not play favorites and I am sure you can ask any of the CSR's about that (no seriously please do). Fact is, sometimes someone may align with items and/or issues that make sense and what I have said was our direction.

Just so we're clear...(and things I have said on many occasions):
1) Jedi are Alpha.
2) MBH are the bane of Jedi (should be). We need to do 2 things to make them better vs Jedi... I am aware.
3) Terminals are there to help new players, but should also be available to all players that aren't in combat (this includes TEF). It's a gap SWG had and it always sucked when there were no doctors to be found when you needed one. Not everyone wants to have an ALT doctor... nor should they have to.
4) Factional balance is important.
5) CM's and DOTs are OP... they give too much power. We are looking at removing the stacking and also minor tweak.
