fishhead2k wrote:Unfortunately it is in fact random for everyone. The earlier post that mentions "weight" re-inspired mine and Baid's very first theory of a "point system". Every so many points will get you past a certain threshold of force sensitivity. However certain badges have more or less "weight" than others based on what you rolled at character creation.
Example. Baid was at the "tingle" stage for a very long time. Even though he did all the theme parks including both imp and rebel. As well as getting both warren badges, and the mark of courage. He didn't reach "faint sense" until after he mastered the scout profession, however he did get the 75 badge mark at the same time. POINT BEING. Content badges held very little, if any, "weight" for his character.
I, on the other hand had tingle after all 45 poi badges, 7 profession badges, and a few race tracks. It wasn't until I gained a mysterious sensitivity boost, without gaining any more badges or doing quests and went to "faint sense". After that I mastered a few more classes with no results. But with the last being another combat profession, I finally did Nym's, Jabba's, Imp theme parks, Warrens, Mark of courage. Which then shot me straight from Faint to "The Force is growing within you". So for my character, content badges held much more weight for me than mastering classes. I believe I'll still need to master some more classes to finally push me into force sensitivity, just hopefully not too many.
Still, the best way to get to Jedi is to do the easiest things first. Get a combat profession or two. Get all the poi's. Do a theme park or two. Then see where you stand. Of course frequently check your sensitivity along the way after the shrines are fixed. If mastering a profession or two gave you a bump, then keep doing that. If all the poi's on a planet gave you a bump, keep doing that. If doing a theme park gave you a bump... you see where I'm going with this. You pretty much just have to play the game, as Cynar and Ed keep saying.
And hope your character isn't profession weighted =D. Also, get onto the test server and help them fix the patch so we can get it into live faster. But don't forget to check your sensitivity while you're there.
Well. I've done many other things then just those. I spent countless hours running and exploring every city and every building in the cities, Been to EVERY POI and explored each one. I've done every quest that is in game and available other then 2 imperial missions in the dant mop, I've spent many more hours riding a swoop all over every planet, making way points to everything interesting and cool (including the house on dath with modern furniture, 2 life day orbs and a speeder out back). Including a Colonel military ranking.
All of the above did nothing for my force sensitivity.
I'm still Faint. At least til they fix the meditate thing.
At least now I know that I need to master classes, cause its actually really easy. If I sit here with a full day I can get 2 master combat classes, but there is something called real life.

Well, I finally paid my first visit to a Force Shrine, and I can state unequivocally that my Twi'lek tailor is currently about as Force Sensitive as a ham sandwich. At least, I assume that's the meaning of the stage "Only you can known your heart".

Try adding mustard so your ham sandwich gets a "tingle"... (damn, now I'm hungry...)

Is krayt really the closest thing to ham in this game?

Also hope that it isn't at all time based. I still don't believe it is, but the idea itself is growing and some believe it with absolute certainty.

ok this is a stupid question, but how do you exactly check the force status? because when you do the /check it tells you to meditate so what im thinking is go to an actual jedi statue then check like that?
