Advice on Fast Blast, anyone know how to survive it?

Hello All

Fast Blast is a demon when it comes to Jedi. Working as intended and made to be the one thing Jedi cant handle. 1 v 1 it puts it on a lvl playing field but as we all know, when a jedi is full temp, they come in teams. If 2 BH run FB at ideal, it is pretty much impossible to survive, especially when frozen, frozen. Can anyone give me tips on how to not die to fast blast or should i just die when a MBH, MBH team comes after me? Just trying to figure out my template.

Stay off the terminals or let them kill you when termed until you get higher up you won't have a chance against two and even then you have to plan it out straight up facing two of them isn't smart.

If people have other stuff they need or want to do or don't care about maxing template as fast as possible you can log off and wait to fall off the terminals but if anyone holds your mission still at risk.

Honestly for me every time I have been termed it's honestly just better to take the death so I can get back to grinding because there is way too many bhs you'll lose a lot more xp constantly fighting and eventually dying to them regardless.

I hate to tell you this but it's about to get worse, with the acc changes on fast blast on test right now full template jedi that know what they're doing are in danger of being erased in under 10 seconds. Using food and FA2 on test vs crestons BH I fell over in 13 seconds with 8 hits landing in a row. Do not let them get in optimal or your toast.

And in the movies, Luke was able to defeat a master bh when Luke wasn't a full temp jedi yet lol

Pretty sure Luke was a Jedi Knight at this point which implies full template.

Ah okay. Hopefully a Knight can solo a BH

Really, they are increasing the acc to fast blast? I really dont want to sound complainy but is that not a little much? It takes close to a year to full temp in hiding from new, and a bh 3 weeks to max and they can ice a full temp is 13 seconds? or 6.5 seconds with 2? i have been a supporter of Ed's vision and have backed them along the way every time, but this doesnt make it harder, it makes it unbalanced. BUT, my faith remains, i have to assume they will balance it. It is only in test phase so it may not see the light of day. And if it does, I can always play my swordsman.

I want to clarify a bit. I was not implying that fast blast is going to kill all full templates in 13 seconds by any means. It is perfectly possible for jedi to beat this but it isn't going to be accomplished by standing perfectly still in BH optimal trying to out heal the damage. Things like LoS/picking your battles/proper ability and food usage will give you the edge vs one in some cases two BH. If it's three hunters you should follow acids advice and run.

Now that i have been thinking about it, why wouldnt you run? I am a Star wars comic buff and i have to say, there is only 2 comic that Shows a sith (Darth Maul) Running up on the black sun and even he almost died and Darth Vader storming a city and the only reason he survived was because Boba decided to join with him. All other times bounty hunters were crafty and picked where and when. I am good with this, wont hear me complain anymore.

Also, when there are tests getting more than 5-6 people helps because it's more of a testing pool and I test when I can even if it means sacrificing time needed on live for the good of the server/players. This latest test included numerous bh and jedi related things including changes to fast blast.

If you aren't full templated or high up I'm sure the csr's would be fine to move you along on there to test, if not busy of course.

how could I help out?

Uhm. I think ed is adding stuff check the test server post. Last night for hours we tested knight trials.

It was, it was amazing to wear knight robes again after such a long time. The trials will definitely take a little bit of time but if jedi help each other out should speed it up a little bit.
