Vendor Viewer (Pipe Dream)

Without knowing anything about the SWG software and what data is sent out for external use, I like a lot of people I bet, log in from time to time just to check their vendors and what items need restocking. What would be really cool and useful is if there was an external application that you could check your vendor status without having to log into the game. I'm sure the downside to this is some people may say is that now you have something that allows people to not log into the game and interacting with people. But for me, I know this would be a pretty handy tool. Anyway like the title says, pipe dream and feel free to throw rocks at the idea. Just getting the creative juices flowing.

Great idea and I know some other games have this feature but I just do not think it is a good fit for this particular game.

I use it too. I remembered it from live, wondered if it still worked, found it on google and was like "AWWW YISS JUST LIKE OLD TIMES!"
There was also a good one called the Weaponsmith's Friend, I think.. something like that I used to use also, but have been unable to find again

Antrax, was there any trick to configuring it? It doesn't seem to allow me to choose any character besides Innkap after I point it to the SWGAwakening/Profiles directory. I've been hacking at the settings and reading the documentation without any luck for almost an hour.

Make sure you go to the toon(s) you wish to have data for and /mailsave as well.
Then go to File>Open>From SWG Dir
On the following screen, bottom left under character, the dropdown should populate with any toons that have a /mailsave done
