Please consider removing the grace period upon login. At least vs other players.
The grace period provides a decent advantage if you use it strategically in PVP, making enemy players unable to attack you for an extended (too extended) period of time.
E.g. to chase down players or run away without being vulnerable, as long as you stay out of combat.
Furthermore, players should be red on the map if they are special forces, even though they are under the grace period. It's confusing and deceitful to see player dots switch between red/blue constantly on multiple soft logs.
Besides, a grace period isn't really hard mode is it?

I will add to this that you can effectively soft log in safe distance of a faction base and sprint past the turrets unharmed.

This was supposed to be changed with the last patch. I think there was some debate and extra coding that needed to be done. Too many variables in place to just say remove from everyone. It's meant to prevent griefing of players, some people just like to exploit it. If caught using they get the old heave ho.
We do encourage the tattle tale system here to aid us. Timestamped screens, video's, or just a shout out in general chat "Hey Acid is using the logout invulenerability timer to keep from being hunted!". Not only does it embarrass them publicly, but it catches our eye and we can port to the person in question.
Then we start keeping a real close eye on them. I know people don't like to snitch, but they are cheating both you and us when they behave like this. Help us help everyone.

I understand why Wrike said this as I was trying to kill him, but because he was invisible for me (blasted swoops), I soft-logged about 2 times to see him. Didn't mean to use the invuln to my advantage.

The invisibility issue should be improved... let us know if this hasn't improved.

I've seen it twice since the patch.
One time on yavin finding Idah while looking for the prowlers another time on naboo chasing a random sf rebel out of town.

I went Bounty Hunting jest after the patch. Wonderfull fight through the streets of Dune Sea. Mark went in one of the bases, and when he came out, I couldn't see him. There was a bit of peacing out, hopping on a speeder, jumping off, attacking, hopping on a bike again to run down the jebi.

I've played around and have noticed no change in being attack-able by other players upon a login or soft-log. Its, honestly a long time, plenty long enough to load in, call bike, get the hell out of dodge. One exception I've seen is in duels. Dueling and soft logging or returning from a client crash is no time at all. The other person's name does turn purple(same faction) for a few seconds but is completely hit-table (confirmed looking at animations and combat log). Not criticizing. Just providing input. Still better than live, I say.
