Guild member association to their Alts

Ok, this is perhaps just a personal one.....but something I would personally love to see.....

Me and some friends recently joined this community, and began to recreate our old Eclipse guild IMPS on here, we managed to drag back some old members into this game along the way, and have recently begun to ramp up our guild recruitment.

Now back in the old days, most of us only ever had one account, this meant knowing who was who....was pretty easy....Now however with people having a whole bunch of alt accounts.....it makes keeping track of who is who...even amongst those i have known for years....is pretty tricky at times lol.

So what I would like to ask, is....is it possible to see who is linked to who in guild? (obviously if people chose to have alts outside the guild those could be kept secret if need be) but having those in guild somehow linked....again not sure on how to do this, but it would make keeping tabs on people so much easier, as well as making it easier to grant certain permissions to one person regardless of which of their chars they happen to be on. So for example, I might make someone in my guild part of our towns militia. If this worked, then by doing so, not only would that persons main be able to grant zoning rights etc, but so would any of their alts....

For this to work, say it was me. Ty-Odi is my main. But if I were on my alt Midus...then if I posted something in guildchat, perhaps even allow their guild rank to show as well? it would come up as....

This would make it easier to know who you are talking too, and for newer members to get to know one another, who the heirachy is and so on.

I used friends list with lables for this, in Live (also an Eclipse member and I remember IMPS guild), but on this server the lables dont stick.

This reminds me of the Guild Wars interface. Man it sucked.

There are better things the developers of this server are working on at the moment. I think they put a pin in this suggestion as I have seen others before.

I personally just use the same surname for all my alts.
