I've never really played commando - I have a quick question before I give it a try with one of my alts

Does the flamethrower burn and set fire to which ever pool it hits or is it always the health pool?

It burns health only. 100% confirmed.

Scenario: Two Commandos are laying fire to a target. It will only show 1 DoT on the target.
Question: Will 1 or 2 DoTs tick on the target? Will both DoTs tick from each Commando or will they not stack and only 1 DoT will tick?

I have been given both answers and wanted to confirm. Thanks!

Higher Dot for each ability. So if 1st mando lands his single1 and the second lands his single1 the higher will stick and that goes for all the rest.

So only 1 DoT will stick and tick on the target per special with two Commandos?

Then having 1 Commando and 1 Swordsman versus a heavy armor target would be better than having 2 Commandos?

That would be correct only problem is the fact swords cant target health.
