You're wrong.
Burritos Locos does not ban Bounty Hunters.
HOWEVA - bounty hunters that use exploits will be banned and the ban will never be lifted. A resident shadowplayed the whole incident and I will review the footage. If you weren't exploiting, I will be more than happy to lift the ban.
I have no issue with BH missions regardless of faction, gank squad, etc. I do have an issue with people exploiting.
I'll get back with you in the next day or so. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you if you aren't at fault.

Was the exploit the traps? I have a tough time with jedi breaking line of sight but the traps still going off.

Jedi that run into a house, the bounty can still target a Jedi. Bounty hunter can not enter but can send in bomb droids. This was never considered an exploit on live. Awakening team may feel differently.
Curious that other BHs could throw traps at jedi with their bomb droids, I crafted the different trap types to see what effect they would have. Nothing game breaking or advantageous with traps on jedi in house so I left. Just another frustrating chase to a safe house.
I went to buy a ticket to leave and you banned me. You have the power to ban anyone for any reason. I'm guilty of one thing, being a bounty hunter who tries to learn of any hidden abilities the devs may have secretly coded.
Keep your city bans. It won't impede me. No one is untouchable regardless of the barriers. It only hurts your city's commerce potential. Bounty hunters never give up until they win, die, or jedi sits in house all day.

Although I have gathered some info from this post, please submit a ticket if you believe someone is exploiting rather than posting about it on forums. It will both allow us to investigate the situation/bug *and* not propagate the exploit.scalz2 wrote:I do have an issue with people exploiting.
I am not pointing the finger at anyone in particular. Tickets allow us to look more in depth and fix these things.

Just for the record, the post indicating that exploiting was occurring was in response to a post containing blatant misinformation, which if propagated harms the city's reputation and ability to do commerce.Xiphos wrote:Although I have gathered some info from this post, please submit a ticket if you believe someone is exploiting rather than posting about it on forums.

Though I do understand what you are saying Nevin, when a city hands out bans willynilly, they run the risk of hurting their rep and their commerce for that policy.

I disagree that it's misinformation. I am a bounty hunter who chased a jedi to a safe house. I was banned when I left. I posted in this thread that this occurred. The mayor disagreed that it was not for bounty hunting and said it was for exploiting.beowulfchauffeur wrote:Just for the record, the post indicating that exploiting was occurring was in response to a post containing blatant misinformation, which if propagated harms the city's reputation and ability to do commerce.Xiphos wrote:Although I have gathered some info from this post, please submit a ticket if you believe someone is exploiting rather than posting about it on forums.
An exploit is using a bug to gain an unfair advantage over other players. What occured did not change any outcomes in a disadvantageous manner.
After i left, one of the bhs told me that the jedi did decide to come out of the house and wasted all of them. It was an exercise in futility. Maybe they burned thru all their traps and bomb droids that they were no longer prepared for an actual fight.

I am not concerned with citybans or in-game politics, as that is between players. I am interested in addressing exploits and bugs. We can't fix if we aren't aware of details (which should be submitted via ticket).beowulfchauffeur wrote:Just for the record, the post indicating that exploiting was occurring was in response to a post containing blatant misinformation, which if propagated harms the city's reputation and ability to do commerce.

It wasn't "willy-nilly." There was a group of people using exploits. I have made an attempt to get in touch with narrk and rectify HIS ban.Celt wrote:Though I do understand what you are saying Nevin, when a city hands out bans willynilly, they run the risk of hurting their rep and their commerce for that policy.

Aside from that, if you exploit, bully, or use bigoted language or racial slurs in general or spatial, you will be banned from Burritos Locos and all structures therein, per the mayor.

Let me settle this for everyone as I'm getting a little pissed here lately with the post PvP behavior.
#1 Staff hands out punishment for exploits, not players.
#2 Submit a ticket and report the exploit. If you don't then you are just as guilty as the party exploiting.
#3 Just because you feel something might be an exploit, doesn't automatically make it an exploit. Staff determines that.
#4 Just because you don't like the staffs response doesn't mean you have been treated unfairly.
#5 Life lesson here, you aren't always going to get your way. Learn to be flexible.
You can ban anyone from your city for any reason you want, hell you don't have to tell them the reason. If someone calls you out about it, you have every right to respond. If you start screaming exploit or cheating and it's not, then expect the Wrath of Cynar. You failing to respect the rules regarding reporting exploits is your fault, not everyone else's. If we rule it's not an exploit or a cheat, then it is not.
Last, but not least don't argue with staff. You got a problem with someone here then bring it to me. You got a problem with me then you'd better be 100% in the right before you go any further. That means cool your head first, think about it real good, then proceed.
If you don't like pvp and the after affects that come with it, then don't pvp. If you don't like pvp then don't play Jedi. If you don't like people calling your city out for being ban happy, well maybe think real hard about your ban policies before handing them out like candy. If you don't like critique stay off the damn Internets!

I will refrain from using the term "exploit" as justification from any city ban I impose. A citizen shadowplayed rebels actively attacking an imperial base without being flipped to SF or being tefd. Those players are and will be banned from Burritos Locos in perpetuity, as is my right as the mayor. Please note that I did not mention anyone's name in this thread. They know exactly who they are and what they did. The citizen is rendering videos and tickets will be submitted.
And, as ello said, anyone that uses racial or bigoted slurs towards any citizen of Burritos Locos or of any player within city limits will be permanently banned from my city. Any player making a case for banning must present screens or video evidence for a ban to take place.
To be clear: PvP is welcome in Burritos Locos. All factions are welcome in Burritos Locos. Jedi hunting is welcome in Burritos Locos.
TL;DR- Don't be a dick in my city and you won't get banned.
As of 2100 hrs 19 Feb 2016, this is the policy for Burritos Locos. If this isn't crystal clear, please contact me or my militia

You can ban anyone for any reason like cynar has said previously and we are completely fine with that. Just please do not lie about the reason of the ban trying to make things clearly what they were not.scalz2 wrote:I am the mayor of Burritos Locos.Cynar wrote:Let me settle this for everyone as I'm getting a little pissed here lately with the post PvP behavior.

I will openly say that it is <CoA> that took the turrets earlier and once the bases were vulnerable we took all 3 of those as well. The bases that you did have were the very small ones and i'm sure there was some people that didn't even get a chance to attack npc's or do anything as we had set people to blow the base and had jedi clearing out the npc's. There definitely was overt rebels there but there is absolutely no overt requirement for that base especially.
Ello saw that we were there and we did attempt to have people there attack us that simply chose not to.
Both myself and my guild would very much like to here back on the response of the submission of that video and evidence.

There is a widely known bug that NUMEROUS tickets have been submitted for, and video evidence is on the way.
