I don't know if this has been asked and answered but how do I get rid of the newbie tag on the forum? Kind of annoying having to wait for approval for a post.

Once you have posted a few times it drops the title. You have been here a while but the fact you have hardly posted keeps you at that level. Plus the fact you were a member and only started posting in the last few weeks makes the forum security think you could be a potential spammer.

not automatic, ed does it manually

You also have to make sure you contact Ed once you donate. If you read the directions it specifically tells you to contact Ed with the details of your donation. If you do so, you will get your title.

Ok thank you for the answer. I have not been playing recently due to my computer dying. I am getting it fixed now and it should be up and running again soon.

After that I will probably post more since I will be playing.

See, I never read the instructions for donations, I just donated because you guys are awesome. I'll go see if I still have the info, if not then it will have to wait until next year's donation. I'm really not upset, it just amused me.

The simple notion that people are donating without even being aware of any sort of compensation existing is a testament to the quality of the server and the community that has been fostered here.

Exactly. The game is what drew me here. The community is what made me stay as long as I have. Ed has stated numerous times that he can handle funding this project on his own but there is no way he should shoulder it alone. We all play here so donate whatever you can whenever you can. Every little bit will not only show our appreciation but also help to ensure we keep going as strong as we are now.

Hi everyone

I put this here coz its related to the forum tag and donations. Unfortunately it seems, donations made to the server are not rewarded anymore with forum tags. Further more it seems, donations are not confirmed by any of the server stuff team. I did a donation of 100 US dollars as a sign of gratitude (Transaction ID: 4W504259C72485333) - I really enjoy playing here and the events are awesome.

I did this donations on September 25 2016 - mailed it another 2 times and I got no reply. I don't expect anything but at least a confirmation the money is in good hands! I like everyone will read this before donating here - cause this is really unprofessional stuff... *sorry guys*. So I hope you could do a statement related to this and make me forget this post.

Thank you for doing great stuff and hopefully.. make SWGawakening great again! inside and outside (:

The forum titles are still in play. I admit that I am not taking the time to track every donation via spreadsheet, so if you'd like one please specify your account information in a follow-on email or PM one of us and we will get it straightened out.

For your case specifically tor4bor4, you did email after to verify the payment but please next time be more clear that you are seeking a forum title. We certainly appreciate donations and some folks like forum recognition, while others don't care.

EDIT: I changed the wording slightly in the original donations post. Tor4, you did follow the directions as asked; apologies you didn't get the title sooner.
