Suggestion: Limits on Trade Chat Spam

I'm not referencing a certain other chat, but I've been disappointed since I've joined this server at just how utterly useless Trade Chat is.

I've never had a question answered there - which I can't blame anybody for, because your question is spammed off the screen in a few seconds.

While I guess I understand that people need to spam their vendors in there (although personally, I always really enjoyed the 'word of mouth' advertising that made crafters on SWG strive to be friendly, helpful, etc) it makes it impossible to use.

For example - asking "Does anybody know if any mini comp suit vendors are currently stocked on Corellia?" would NEVER get an answer in Trade Chat, because nobody would see it, and I have a feeling that nobody looks at it or keeps it on an open tab because it's just so annoying/distracting, all the colored text flying by.

And even if there's a 60 second limitation for AFK spamming, if you have 10 people AFK spamming it, that's one 2-4 line piece of text every 6 seconds, which means you're moving one line every 3 seconds (roughly) - makes it very hard to read actual chat.

Any thoughts?

I completely second this if it's possible. I've clicked on the trade channel a total of 2 times since I've been here... and clicked away almost immediately because I couldn't even read anything. I would agree with a 60 second limit between posts as well. With General Chat gone now I'd prolly find myself leaving trade chat up while grinding if this got implemented, but not in its current state.
