Alrighty! We are about halfway there with the med center and cantina decorations, we also will be working on the cloning center and city hall, but!!!

We now have a guild and guild hall for the city. Since there is no ETA an custom chat channels, plan B has been implemented. You don't have to be a resident to be in <COMM> and you don't have to be in <COMM> to be a resident. Like the maintenance payments, it's there if you need it, contact Ralk or Boscohark and we'll get you set up so we can all chat.

I wanted to start events this month, but decorating is going slower than I expected, mostly due to the uber resource spawns of late, lol. As soon as we have the Civic Center (name might be changing) decorated then we'll have a party. Until then, look for a mini-event to explore on Lok ICly. I'll let you know when and where, you just show up and be in character and we'll take a stroll across the beautiful landscape of Lok.

I'm (very) interested, and finally getting free of RL issues that were limiting my ability to participate.

Are there homes available for sale or should I come with deeds already purchased?

I have several characters that could use a home:

Telara Casi: Sometimes described as a "free trader," sometimes "smuggler," sometimes "cantina girl that has no business running a starship." Her ship- the Silver Rasp- is currently berthed near Nym's stronghold for repairs. Some rumors suggest that the Rasp's former owner may have retaken the Rasp by force, and he's the one doing repairs. Might explain why she's not staying in town. Might also explain her interest in finding muscle... and finding ways to pay for said muscle. (Human, Dancer, Smuggler*, young adult)

Chiadre Dax: This Lethan Twi'lek speaks little about her past- at least little that is true. She explains her knowledge of medicine to "being a sickly child" who was practically raised in the medical field, then encouraged to pursue it. On occasion, she'll talk of her studies in places like Kaadra and Vreni island, but those familiar with those locales find the stories don't mesh- or were accurate only decades before Chiadre would have been there. (Twi'lek, Doctor, Dancer* young adult)

Kitnik: Small for a wookiee, but still intimidating enough, this wookie seems to be Telara's and Chiadre's guardian, but not in the "life debt" kind of way. It doesn't take long to see that Kitnik has a gambling problem... and the credits she loses far exceeds what she could bring in hunting... but she always manages to pay off her bets. It's also noticable that Telara and Chiadre are always short on credits. (Wookiee, Musician*, Scout*, Swords*)

Seiko Ancia: A small, unassuming lady in her mid-40's, Seiko could pass herself off as much younger, with only the hint of a wrinkle on her face or gray in her hair. With a little effort, though, she can appear a convincing 40 years older. For all her quiet appearance, add a little booze and she'll tell tawdry tales of her time as a young provocateur / spy in the Clone Wars. A little more booze and her current political views come out... and make it apparent why she's hiding out on a backwoods planet like Lok rather than using her acting skills on holovid. (Human, Mid-40's, Image Designer, Artisan*)

We are easy, you can bring your own or we have small and medium tat houses that you can have. We don't mind generic houses, we just like the Tat houses better, we have a couple of medium generics too, I believe, so you will have your choice. If you want to give Ralk the Mayor admin rights, we will keep the maintenance paid. This is a service offered, if you want it. If you don't then that's perfectly fine.

I'm not able to get ingame right this minute, but I should be on later (after 6pm pacific/9pm eastern) and I'll get on Ralk first so you can add her to friends and know when I'm there.

We also currently have a guild <COMM> that you are welcome to join (or not, we're easy) so you can chat with other residents or friends. You don't have to be in the guild to have a house in Daggers Down, and you don't have to have a house in Daggers Down to be in the guild. It's just there until custom chat channels let us make an OOC channel and a DD channel.

The more people are coming and going in town, the higher the chance of random RP, so welcome any and all.

Good to hear you might swing by. It is a quiet place, but great for missions (especially to the NW). The regular mission terminal is in front of city hall and the faction ones are at either side of the building. No active ents or docs around so make sure you buff before you arrive...Kimos and pirates do tend to swarm around the edge of town :-)

Daggers Down is still up and running and is an Improved Job Market. There was, however, an "incident" regarding the name. It will be known as Merrieville for the rest of the week...please don't ask

Anyway, it seems I am now the caretaker mayor until Ralk returns.
