Tela is one of those people you come across once in a lifetime, he is so caring to other people that his needs don't just come 2nd to theirs but he will ensure that he does everything in his power to make sure the person he is helping comes first with anything he does.

He has a very witty sense of humour and is always lighting up the mood whenever he is around and is the go to guy for resources,weapons,armor and now droids. Thank you for everything you do for the server you are a fantastic example for any player to look to.

Who is Tela, the person and the character?

My name is Tom , i am 45 , married and have a 10 year old son (who likes dragons more than star wars :/ ) I live in germany and most ppl on the server know me as Tela cause all my toons got some Tela in the name.

Why Awakening?

I joined Awakening by coincidence , it was actually the first i found in the web when searching for a pre-cu server, but after a few days playing i was sure thats is the place i wanna be !

What drives you to do what you do in game?

There could be no Star-Wars without blaster ! I simply love the crafting system in this game , gathering resources and loot to combine it to powerfull equippment and i am happy that it DOES make a difference wether you use looted or crafted stuff. So what i do is to craft the equippment that is needed to engage even the most dangerous combats , venture deep into the deadliest dungeons and return alive Though i am not a good combatant myself i like to equip others that are and help them to archieve their goals , may it be hunting krayt dragons or trying to assemble the mandalorian armor (big GZ to Turin who made it!).

What are some of your in-game Hobbies?

My big in-game hobby is my little restaurant. I hope you have a visit and enjoy your meal I put much efford into the decoration and i am happy about any suggestions to make it even more comfortable.

Favorite moment on Awakening?

the *find Heimdallr* event was just new when i was joking in general chat i would hire Boba Fett to bring me Heimdallr frozen in carbonite to decorate my house. When i was swooping on lok suddenly Boba Fett spawned next to me and i was like *woha !* , stopped and asked him if he would do the job for 30.000 credits ... before he could answer he was struck by lightning !!! Thanks Heimdallr for that wonderful screenshot !

What would you say is your best quality?

Crafting ... definately crafting , haha.

Fun Tela Fact?

I got a sticker on the back of my old n rusty car *Millenium Falcon*

Most Embarassing Moment?

I was a bit disappointed when we got the auto-post of resources on galaxy harvester because i somehow felt we would loose an important part of the game (a big *wookieehug* to Mothman who did a marvellous job).

Why do you think the community nominated you?

I am not quite sure why the community voted for me ...did i bribe you with all my free given equipment ? haha. I just try to help whenever i sense someone needs a hand. Others in the community would deserve it much more (VOTE FOR DIRGE!).

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

... and after all the universe tends to unfold as it should (thats from the movie *Harold and Kumar*)

What does the future for the person and the character?

Like we (hopefully) all do, i am looking forward to play a few more years along with the many friends i have found here and maybe find a few more. Its an MMORPG and that means: TEAM UP , shared fun is doubled fun !

Novro is the dependable doctor in the sky, ask anyone on the server about a doctor and 9 times out of 10 novro will be top of that list, he has been around for years and is hardly ever offline. The man behind the doctor is also a great guy too, ive been lucky enough to have conversations with him in the past and he is very intelligent knowledgeable. As a community we are very lucky to have someone like him here we thank you.

Who is Novro, the person and the character?

My name is Owen, I live in Tasmania, Australia and am currently studying in College with a casual job, I enjoy gaming, specifically sandboxes and MMOs as well as strategy and survival games. In game most will know me as Novro, the New Destiny buff bot on Corellia, before being the buff bot in New Destiny I spent time buffing alongside Dathine and Gangstar in Tuskens’ Bane. I have been running a buff doctor most of the time I have played on Awakening and enjoy running a reliable service for others. The conversations and interactions I have with other players through Novro is a massive driver for me, I also enjoy helping other players set up their own doctor buff bots. Alongside Novro I am also mayor of New Destiny and run a few vendors around the place.

Why Awakening?

I enjoy the hard mode aspect that Awakening brings with it, easy mode games quickly become boring and when you achieve something you don’t feel that sense of achievement that you do if you have worked long and hard for it. No other SWGEmu server brings with it the challenge that Awakening does, although it is hard to get started it is well worth it in the end! The sense of community we have here on Awakening is unparalleled on any other server, if you need help all you need to do is ask and undoubtedly someone will be willing to lend a hand.

What drives you to do what you do in game?

As I said previously I love operating Novro in-game, through him I get into lots of conversations with passers-by and receive lots of grateful emails for the service I run which is really the only thanks I need (the tips are just a bonus to make the service viable to offer). I also enjoy helping others setup their own buff bots to expand the coverage on the server.

What are some of your in-game Hobbies?

I enjoy decorating housing and collecting all the rarities available on the server, going along on high end PvE raids in the DWB, Geo Caves, Sentinels, Night Sisters and may more. It is always a laugh, we usually end up getting someone killed in a hilarious way. Managing New Destiny and of course operating my buff bot Novro are also really enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoy all the wonderful in game events that get thrown for us as well!

Favorite moment on Awakening?

There are way too many just to pick one, some of the best moments so far are:
The amount of times that we made everyone in general believe that Laschana has unlocked her jedi back when we had the unlock announcements, I think we got her up to 14?
The Tuskens’ Bane Anniversary events
The MG Winter Formal
The hunts I go on with my friends and guildies, they are always a blast!
Now, getting this award, thank you to everyone that nominated me!

What would you say is your best quality?

I would say that if you send me through a message or mail in-game I will try my best to answer/help you out with whatever it is you are asking about or point you in the right direction but almost everyone on Awakening does that, which is awesome! I mostly just love helping out others in game and having fun with friends.

Fun Novro Fact?

Novro gets his own PC all to himself, nothing else is actually done on that PC except for hosting Novro, the PC often goes for about 2-3 months without a restart just so I can keep Novro up as much as possible (unless of course I forget to log him on for a few hours after restart) if that’s not silly I don’t know what is

Most Embarassing Moment?

An embarrassing moment would have to be the time I made a 300 and something swoop run with some SB resources that I didn’t mean to use, I only noticed afterwards that I had used the SB resource after the run was almost complete ☹ I have also sent a few mistells that sound dodgy when out of context in my time.

Why do you think the community nominated you?

Honestly, I have no clue… Probably because I like to chat with people on the server and help others in game without expecting anything in return?

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

The best bit of advice I have received is probably; ‘Whatever you are going through right now, don’t worry about it, even if it seems like the end of the world right now. Years later you will probably look back and see how little and insignificant it was in the scheme of things.’ In my case I probably will have forgotten about it though because my memory is dodgy, haha.

What does the future for the person and the character?

What does the future hold for the person and the character?
I hope to be playing on SWG Awakening for many more years to come yet and in a few years hopefully I will have a few degrees to my name and some flashy job that I enjoy!
Thank you to everyone who has made this server such an awesome and welcoming place for so many people, all the past and current Devs, CSIs, CSRs, ECs and marvellous community members that have called Awakening home and helped to make it what it is today. You are truly wonderful! This game is a one of a kind sandbox that lets you do almost whatever you want, I mean I can go and lick or slap a DJM and then get incapped and slapped with a fine, that I still to this day get mails telling me to pay, that’s wicked! Not to mention the downright idiotic profession combinations that you can give yourself if you so desire.

The entertainer in the sky, what is there that i can say that many others and himself has not already said, he is the longest serving entertainer on the server coming from humble beginnings working his way up in mos eisley cantina before becoming somewhat of a celebrity on awakening.
Fantastic ambassador for the server with his loyalty and dependability very well deserved.
We thank you for everything you have done for the community.



Who is Airy, the person and the character?

Airy the person: I'm Andrew, yes, sorry there is a male behind Airy... 48 married with a 5yo boy. I work in IT in Australia and like most of us juggle a full time job, family and game time. I am the responsible one in my family and I am the go to person when things get tough or someone needs to sort things out..

Why Awakening?

I was wandering around the internet when I was between jobs and found the EMU sites from the game that I loved but had to give up due to work and life comittments ... and I hated the CU version. I googled and read the forums about what server was good and bad.. When I saw that Awakening was claiming to be SWG the way it should have been I thought I'd give it a try. I never left... And I've stayed for the community that we have established here.The community continues to be the reason I stay. I've made good friends here and have continued those friendships in and out of the game.

What drives you to do what you do in game?

I remember stating in this game on live and here. I had no idea what I was doing both times around.. In Awakening I was able to reach out and was offered helpful advice, provided resources to grind my doc and befriended by Kazzi and Akoth. We did the Warren together as a small group and was given some great advice. Ever since then I've tried to pay that forward, so when I meet a new player and have the time to take them out and teach them the basics or answer every question they ask.. even if sometimes I get it wrong....

As people have taken breaks from the game I've always managed to find like minded people with similar values to myself to enjoy their company. People like Ankton, Novro, Turin, Evec, Tela and a massive bunch of others who I will regret fogetting to mention keep me coming back for the company and enjoyment.

What are some of your in-game Hobbies?

I am lucky enough to share my interest of SWG with my wife. Some people will know Ring and Rang, they are her two toons, commando and defence stacker. As a couple we enjoy hunting for high end clothing and armour attachments. One you drop a tusken executioner or observer there is nothing quite like that feeling of anticipation before you loot the remains.. Sometimes you strike it lucky, most of the time you don't. But that chance keeps us coming back.. Not to mention the joy of trying to figure out what a tusken does with a metal bikini.

Favorite moment on Awakening?

I watched with great pleasure when Sionix was awarded CMOM. I met her on her first day on Awakening and helped her grind out an entertiner while providing some seed credits and advice. It was amazing for me to watch her grow in the game to become a guild leader and build those amazing cities on Naboo. Seeing her rewarded for her efforsts as CMOM gave me a warm glow to know that I was part of her journey.

What would you say is your best quality?

I'm loyal to those who I befriend and have a sense of right and wrong that often gets me into trouble when I stand up when I see injustice in the world. Its got me into trouble in and out of the game and while you would think I would learn

Fun Airy Fact?

IRL I play guitar and am lead singer in my band. Some times game life and real life croos in strange ways and until just now I never realised the connection..

Most Embarassing Moment?

Early on I started gathering Musical Mind Enhancement tapes and Dancing Mind Enhancement tapes so I could complete my own suit. Through looting and my own hunting I managed to to collect enough (with some help from friends) to complete my first suit but I ended up with some spares. I thought it would be fun to see if I could make a second suit. I completed over time and handed it to my wife for her entertainer who we used to use to buff Blazen during his Jedi grind. I kept gatehring tapes , buying some and looting others over time to the point that I had enough for a third suit. That suit I completed and gave to Akoth for his entertainer. I then decided to take on the challange of making the perfect dancing shoes +25 musical and dancing mind enhancement tapes put into shoes.

I managed to get the dancing mind tapes but never the musical mind tapes so ended up with a combination of shoes and gloves to complete the outfit allowing Airy to change clothes but still maintain her perfect buff. What I didn't realise was that people percieved that I had made multiple entertainment suits that I was hoarding and stopping anyone else on the server from gathering tapes and providing ent buffs. This made Airy and I a but of a target, most people understood when I explained it, but it still lef tme embarrased that I had not thought of how I would be percieved.

Since then I've managed to complete 4 dancing suits, lent out two suits, have a spare pare of perfect dancing shoes that I will give to my wife and will be putting Airy's first completed ent suit up on display in Airy's guild hall over the coming months. I still have a suit out on permant loan and another that I have available for anyone wishing to borrow it should they be setting up an ent to buff in a city.

Why do you think the community nominated you?

As the longest serving entertainer on the server I think I've been nominated for my staying power... In the early days when reboots were daily and crashes were frequent I would find myself restarting Airy at 2:00am or 11:00pm on a regular basis. If for no other reason than for my determination to remain the longest serving ent on the server!

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Life is a marathon not a sprint. Take the time to enjoy the journey, don't be in a hurry to get to the end. The works for the game and for our lives and has never failed me as a principle to live buy.

What does the future for the person and the character?

I want to explore the PVP side of the game and bring Blazen out of mothballs to see the galaxy again rather then the inside of his dusty house. Airy will continue to be on the server as an Ent, though one day I would like to return to Mos Eisly and greet new players as I once did.. Show them the basics and set them on the path. Unfortunatley time does not allow this to happen at the moment, but I hope in future it will. For now Airy will continue to be the entertainer in New Destiny and I don't see that changing in a very long time.

He lets his actions do the talking, a man of few words but when he does speak people listen as he is a great source of knowledge and a patient teacher especially when it comes to pvp. One of the most respected pvpers on the server by far he will never back down from a fight and is always looking for new ways to play different templates. A great community member that helps enhance areas of the game so we thank you for everything you do now everyone go fear the feu.



Who is Feuwei, the person and the character?

Feuwei is a Zabrak Mercenary who sides with the Rebellion or Empire depending on the situation. He was born on Naboo 29 years ago to parents he never knew. He grew up on the streets and soon found him self falling in with a crew of low lifes and scum, they later became known as the Crimson Dawn and Wolfpack mercaneries. He is no stranger to many professions and very likely to be deadly with a different weapon each time you see him. He runs the city of Ghorfas' Ruins and is a merciful leader. Although Feuwei is a kind man it is best not to cross him. The person behind it isnt too interesting though. My names Marc. I am a huge fan of Star Wars, to no ones surprise. I enjoy playing video games, working on my cars, and skating whenever I get a chance.

Why Awakening?

I joined Awakening when my older brother suggested the server to me and I checked it out. I got back into it pretty quick, met some good people and decided to stick around.

What drives you to do what you do in game?

I just like to have fun and a good time. Without others to play with or against, its just not as enjoyable. I like helping others any way I can and making their game time as fun as mine. I just want to see Awakening thrive and grow.

What are some of your in-game Hobbies?

I really enjoy all sides of SWG. PvP gives me that chance to get in some new interesting fights, have a LOT of fun, and test out various new templates/strategies. PvE gives me a different challenge as well and something fun to do with friends. EVERYONE loves that feeling of looting something good from a tough MOB right?
I have also been known to do some high end Doc/CM crafting and enjoy the payoff of putting all that work into making some nice venom Poisons or Janta meds.

Favorite moment on Awakening?

I would have to say my favorite moment on Awakening would be the night Turin and I completed my DWB foreman quest(before the group could even do the quest together at once) and it was just me and him dual boxing. We were both in rare form and I laughed all night and so hard towards the end. We were trying to race from the pump room all the way back to the foreman with less than 5 minutes left till server reset. Was just so funny and epic watching Turin pull literally half of DWB straight Leroy Jenkins Style and tank them all long enough for me to peace out and turn the quest in. We did it somehow though and with not 10 seconds to spare.

What would you say is your best quality?

I think my attention to details and the ability to think outside of the norm for new ideas would have to be my best qualities.

Fun Feuwei Fact?

I LOVE taco bell lol. Im actually eating taco bell as im typing out this questionnaire.

Most Embarassing Moment?

I actually can't really think of anything majorly embarassing. I'm quite terrible on the battlefield, so thats pretty embarassing.

Why do you think the community nominated you?

Firstly I would like to say there's so many other people deserving of this recognition and I am honored to have even been considered. I would like to think its because of the respect and helpfulness I show to others. If I can help anyone with a reasonable request, I will try my best to help them out. People can always give me a shout if the have any questions or need help with something. Im always up for a hunt, fight, or just a conversation.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

The best in-game advice I recieved was probably "RNG does not pick favorites" but not sure who told me that haha.

What does the future for the person and the character?

I still have a lot of plans for the future. I still have lots of new templates to try out and people to fight. . I also see, in the future, a great deal of dead Krayts, Sentinels, Council Women, Death Watch, and many

March 2019 CMoM: MikeAr, MikeDydy, MikeSm

Thoughts from Cyclone:
Mike is a long time veteran of Awakening, he has been around for as long, if not longer than I have. He mostly keeps to himself, however that doesn’t stop him from achieving greatness in the field of crafting. For many years, Mike has operated a high calibre shop, one of the few places that continuously stocks the rare R.I.S. armour. His shop also stocks a range of other high end BH equipment, fishing gear, droids and weapons. Him and his trading certainly are a credit to Awakening.

Who is Mike, the person and the character?
49 years old, suffering from an autoimmune chronic disease for almost 30 years. Continuous cortisone treatment got me 2/3 movement impaired and 3/4 blind, but that didn't stop me to teach in college the last 15 years (and be here for almost 4 years). My most known character is MikeSm - Ex Smuggler become BH and now FS AS/WS.



Why Awakening?
Searching around between servers I liked the promise of a NO WIPE server and also very well maintained by a group of very enthusiastic peoples.

What drives you to do what you do in game?
I like very much the crafting part of the game and try to come with new products (even the game was comprehensive studied and described so minutely). I like fountains, have one on all my big houses. Not much of the fighter( I fight PVE only if needed and almost NO PVP).







What are some of your in-game hobbies?
Hobby and job in the same time, I like to innovate new uses and types of RIS Armor.



Favourite moment on Awakening?
When, after almost a year of work, my mayor character become a full Politician.



What would you say is your best quality?
Given I can't walk almost at all, I became a very good organizer of things (combine that with a great rate patience).

What's a fun Mike fact?
When I saw Episode 4 for the 250th time, I stop counting.



Most embarrassing moment?
Every time I (and my teacher colleagues) lost a student.

Why do you think the community nominated you?
To be honest, I nominated myself. I managed in 4 years the most successful independent business on server (I like to think, at least) and I am here for the long run.
