I Started on the Kauri Server as a Marksman on my char Atoe and worked my way up to TKA and Pikes master as my first two I joined the guilds <SWP>(Shadow Wolf Pack) then later in the CU KoK(Knights of Kauri) and then after 11 professions and Unlocking on Armorsmith I obtained Jedi and managed to get up to the Rank of Jedi Guardian on my server. After my server was shut down I ended up in the NGE with a name change too the same name as Awakening and I moved too Starsider. Your Turn!

SWG Experience: Started day 1 on Eclipse with a close friend and co-worker and I think we were sleep-deprived for the next several months! (How we avoided getting fired is beyond me...but I digress.) I really enjoyed watching the game develop: first we ran, then mounts, then speeders, then spacecraft; players started finding Nightsisters, Krayts, other high-end PvE and becoming more efficient in killing them; crafters making better and better gear/food as resource quality improved. Joined some guilds, left some guilds, tried some different professions. Had a not-so-nasty hologrind (I can't remember the professions anymore other than ID being one) and unlocked in late December 03 or early Jan 04. Played until joining the military in mid-late 04. CU/NGE happened. Came back to the game in 06 to find nothing the same, and, with little down time personally and no former friends playing, left; came back in Summer 08 (moved to Bria) and found a guild that ran instances and got along really well together. I loved the social aspect, but the game didn't sparkle the same as the early days (daze?). Thank goodness for the Emu and Awakening!

Fav.Planet: hard to say, I like scenery with some variety, so probaby Cor, Talus, Naboo, Endor, Yavin... the plain desert/dark skies ones bore me after a while...
Fav.Planet to Live On: Corellia (boring, but it's where I started, and the hub of activity... it's home! if you stumble across a house on any other planet with my name on the door... it's probably a loot dump! ;-)
My newphew (young punk) was a beta tester and recommened I check out SWG (43 year old geezer at the time, yikes! and yes, I am even older today...). It was 3-5 months after launch, I was stationed in Germany on a 3-year tour, in RL it was probably between the Thanksgiving/Xmas holidays of 2003, but my newly created charcater Hefeweizen of Starsider, remember it fondly as those giddy days when players since launch were already bored with their mounts, stockpiling metals and ores by the millions in anticipation of the upcoming vehicle/player city upgrade, and the Hologrind (I think) was off and running. It was like being thrown into a revolvling door as folks chased resources, profession grinds and the perfect city location. It was fun being a noob in Cnet, folks were tempting you with free mounts, houses, credits, etc. to join their "future" cities. Spent the next couple years exploring a lot of the galaxy on foot, then on my trusty Brackaset, Zeeke (that a vet gave me my first week of playing and I treasured till NGE). I survived the hologrind (13 profs to unlock, I know, got off easy), was visited by the Old Man, annoyed the Sith, did the low level Padawan Trials, then the CU hit... joined a city (free house, such a noob!, would be one of the last standing after the NGE population drop and City of Aureus disbanded), was an Imperial Colonel for a bit, then a Rebel Colonel, became a Badge Whore, chased after the new content, got all the expansions (JTL(yay! I can fly and pick up meteors), RotW(boo! if I wanted instances I'd play WOW), ToOW(hmmm? instances again, I got a bad feelin' bout this...), had finally unlocked my 6? (I forget) FS trees after a lot of back and forth to the Village, life was pretty good... my overseas tour wrapped up, I was getting setup back in the states, that was fall of 2005, looking forward to SWG once the internet got hooked back up... where to start? there was almost too much to do at one time between the Jedi grind, the new planets, the space game, social commitments, perfecting your characters gear, appearance, house(s), etc. when NGE hit like stomping on the brakes... I played off and on for a couple months after NGE... mainly because I felt like I had a lot invested in my character, in the community, etc. but the game had changed so much, I never really got back into it again except to login every 6 months or so, check out my house (with about 30 million credits in the bank for maintenance...), sit on the front porch, remenisce about the good old days...

SWG Experience: Played in the pre-CU days on Naritus with a few friends. Good times back then. Around the time of the CU,left SWG to play EQ2, but always missed SWG. Tried SWG again after the NGE, but it just wasn't the same, and i thought classic SWG was gone forever. But this past Christmas, my friend's brother told me about Awakening, so here I am.

SWG Experience: I played from August 2003 until the NGE hit, I cam back for a few months during the NGE. I have 10 Full Temp toons on Bassalisk but I am not a big fan of that server. When I found out about this one I jumped at the chance to be a part of a fresh server. I just started yesterday(Jan. 30) so I still have a long road ahead of me.

SWG Experience(How long you played on live or in what update pre-cu/CU/NGE): Honestly I never got to play Star Wars Galaxies back when it was live. The game was monthly fee and I was forbidden to play the game when it first came out. Even though one of my family memebers got me the galaxies disks, my parents threw the game out beliving I dont need to play that garbadge game. Years later someone showed me a video gameplay of jedi in nge version. I never really find intrested in it after watching jedi fighting some droids. I personally thought it was awful. One of my friends from steam keeps telling me to get the game. It went f2p at the time and the game wouldn't let me play unless I have the actual disks. Thought there was no point in getting the disks again since the game was shutting down so I never expeirence live when it was happening. However I been told soo many great stories about how awesome everything was back then from playing swgemu and from every player I meet. I joined the swgemu around August 2012 and eventually figure out how the system works. So yes I am still learning in progress but hopefully I can enjoy playing the game here along with meeting new friends .

SWG Experience (How long you played on live or in what update pre-cu/CU/NGE) - Played for 5-6 years total, but broken up into two parts. First part was for 2-3 years when game was first relased (pre-cu), and stopped playing shortly after CU. Ended up coming back to the game another 2 years (nge), up until the final shutdown. Amazingly my main (Katorren) didn't get deleted during my long break, so I ended up playing the same character from start of live to the end

I had left for a long time to play City of Heroes, now also gone (would love it if something like this could happen for that game too!), but came back a little towards the end. Very interested to explore and see if I can relive some of the original fun I had in this game!
