I then played on the original SWGEmu for a few months. Now I am back and found that the population on Awakening is strong which led me to where I am today.

Was a SWG player since day one on Kettemoor. Master carbineer, and was training to be a jedi before the nge hit Cannot for the life of me remember the name of my first guild but funny part is that I left because I wasn't used to the mmo talking group thing. And when I finally joined a guild to be with it ended up being my old guild leaders wifes guild lol. Mutiny was their name and I met a lot of great people and one in particular who became one of my best friends. Sadly as I was trying to find him again through facebook to tell him about this I found out he passed away this recent September. So now I am playing for the fun and memories of old times. So I thank you for bringing this back

From there I was on and off again until the servers went down. Played on EMU for a while, just wasnt the same. Really pleased with Awakening so far.

Favorite Planet to live on: There's something about Tatooine that makes me always out down a house there.
SWG Experience: Started playing a few months before the CU and had only just got to grips with things when it hit. Played extensively throughout CU with TKM/Doc and later BH Rifles on my main, with a Master Tailor alt account. Like a lot of other posters here, nothing really filled the SWG-shaped hole since NGE, which I played for a few hours before cancelling and never going back.

A poster on our EU-Infinity page mentioned he'd been playing Awakening so I checked it out. I'd played on Basilisk, or its predecessor a few years back but it was buggy and had lots missing so I didn't give it much attention but still had the game installed. I was hooked instantly. It was like seeing an old friend for the first time in years.

I love this game and I'm thankful for the people that made it happen. I'll be donating shortly when my EVE sub expires.

Played the original from day 2 until about 2 weeks after CU. Had a Jedi Unlocked toon.
Played on the SWGEmu for a couple years, and then to Exile server until it closed. Some of my guildies from those last two are here and I decided to join them. Led several guilds on all of the servers.

I played until the servers shut down and I have since longed for a SWG fix since no other game has kept me since Anarchy Online/SWG days.

I was a 7 year vet on live and finished about a month before the final plug was pulled.
I played on the Euro-Infinity server then moved to Chimaera. I was a member of the Dark Stance then Dark Judges Imperial Guilds based on Talus.
One of the best things I enjoyed about this game was decorating my houses/ships.

The thing i miss from Live: My Y-8 Mining Ship (Troop Carrier) and a Nak'tra Crystal Knife.

Biggest regret from Live: Never getting the 4th piece to complete the At-At House.

SWG Experience: I played when i it first came out in 2003 and right up until NGE, at which point I didn't see the worth to keep paying and playing so I stopped playing. Had a few characters one of which was Jedi. Played all the expansions and got all the extras such as the Giant flea and jabba like skiff...but either way this game was my all time favorite...many hours were played in this. I have some friends who are Star War nerds and hadn't even heard of this game so I am going to try and have them play as well and join in....So far I love the server as I have tried a couple and so far enjoy this one. Thanks to all for their hard work!!!!

Hey there! No mains or chars to post yet, just found out about this after dipping in and out of emu over the years.

Anyhow, I'm a long long time SWG vet. Played since the 14 hour wait on launch day up to server close Had mains on Kettemoor till it shut down before migrating over to Starsider. I RP'd my whole time there and it was really what I played for. Hopefully some folks still do that! I'm also somewhat older than some might guess, married and kids plus enlisted so sometimes I can be away for a bit. Anyhow nice to meet you all, maybe I'll see you in game

SWG Experience(How long you played on live or in what update pre-cu/CU/NGE - played the original SWG from the very start up until it closed, Master Jedi and Master Bounty Hunter (Full Mando), two toons, loved the game, invested a lot of time and money into it, and it was like a death in the family when it went offline, I have tried the "other" Pre-cu emulater which was ok, seemed a little dead to me, only Cantine folk, dancers etc...
Found this one yesterday afternoon appearing on my facebook, loaded it last night, readied my first toon before bed, at work now, but will be on later. can't wait to get back into it. My family all played the original, me, my kids and my father, so three generations in one game, looking to "emulate" that here, if I can pursuade them of course, Can't thank you enough for doing this, it's awesome..

SWG Experience, Day 1 Vet after getting into Beta 3. SWG was my first ever foray into MMO's and I never looked back. Followed the changes and left for a while once NGE kicked in. Couldnt kick the habit though and kept coming back on and off. I then came back and was playing regularly a year before it was cancelled. Had built a new character up to level 45 when it was announced that the servers were closing.
Gutted, in my opinion no other MMO has ever grabbed me like this one did. Look forward to living on Naboo again, have missed my 3 homes. Medium Naboo House, Guild Hall for all my pets when I couldnt use them anymore and a Small Naboo House which was in my original spot near a lake.
Never one for Jedi so that doesnt interest me and a Loner through out my time playing.

Bring it on and hopefully see you on a planet somewhere

SWG Experience: I missed out on the beta and launch and didn't get playing until the autumn of '03 due to trying my hand at invading foreign countries. I was lucky to have a friend who owned a game cafe (remember those, lol) and he was going from day one. I guilded up with his crew and found them in need of a medic and was happy to oblige. Ran around Bloodfin as Mason throwing out poison and disease through the CU and got myself two whole FS boxes from village quests before heading out of town yet again. When I came home it was a big WTF? I sucked it up and played through the NGE changing classes like socks (only good thing is I somehow ended up with copious amounts of respec tokens) before settling in as a frosty Mando. I played until the end and then jumped ship to ToR. It was cool for a while, playing through the prof stories, but it ended up being just too linear for my tastes. I started back up on SWGEmu a few years ago on SWG Cannon (later renamed to Tarkin) but sadly during the time I was retiring out and moving halfway around the world it folded up. Now I have awakened, and my future is clearer than ever...

SWG Experience: Started on Bria about 6 months after launch, and played until the server went down for the last time.
During that time I was everything under sun except an Entertainer, I can't remember trying that. I almost unlocked Jedi before the NGE.
After the NGE, I hit the respec button and tried NGE Jedi, after a few weeks I was a smuggler again even though they took the stinking spice away from me and I had nothing to smuggle...lol I did a have a cool ship that could have hauled spice....oh well.

I tried SWGemu but I didn't like the looming server wipes so I just didn't play until I found Awakening last week.

I played Pre-cu on Ahazi from late 03' (publish 6 i think) all the way through until the NGE and then stopped shortly after for a few years until the emu team came along and have sporadically played since 07'.

I would like to thank the awakening team for making it possible to play again within what seems to be a really nice community of players.
