SWG Experience(How long you played on live or in what update pre-cu/CU/NGE) : I have played SWG since Launch and played religiously until the servers shut down. Was a Radiant Born player, also transferred to Starsider for the better population. This is by far one of the best games that I have ever played, and was highly dedicated. Glad to have the SWG feel again.

SWG Experience: I played for a few years on the Corbantis server. I played a lot right at release, was a smuggler with some artisan thrown in. I can't remember the server tbh, its been over 10 years now. I ran with a guild of awesome folks named Shining Force. Had a lot of great times playing this game. Really enjoyed its depth. Marshroma (previous post) is a good friend of mine. When he told me about Awakening I was all in. I played pre CU, I think, and was almost a Master Artisian, same name actually, before teenager me had no money to pay for the game subscription. I loved it and it is still my favorite MMO to play, and I think it was my second that I ever played RuneScape being the first. Look forward to many stories to tell.

SWG Experience: Was a tester before the game launched, played all of Pre-CU on the US server Ahazi, though I live in the UK. My toons were Menko'Sar a Master Carbineer, Scout/BH, HGE he became a BH and my Alt was Bo'Sheck.
I found as the game went on through Pre-CU that the macro multi toon players started to destroy the market place, and some of the classes which where built for combat felt a little weak, like the Pistoleer to name one. I was pretty happy when SOE brought in the CU, which I feel kind of helped stop those dam macro program running players. I continued to play to probably about a month after the NGE update, that destroyed the game for me. Removing all the classes and then opening the Jedi, so all the kids could play the class, because it was so hard for them to master all the classes etc to unlock it. I for one loved the grind, and alot of modern day MMO's go down the fast route. Though I have seen some of the macro users returning in Awakening, and openly stating they are running them and using multi-pal alts. The server at the moment not to over populated, so its not such a big issue as it was when SWG was live.

I played SWG from launch, on the Corbantis Server. Revel the early launch days when group grinding on Endor was best. When Dancers use to play their toons, and camp out with the group and 50-100k missions was awesome. My best MMO memories will always be with SWG. As a tailor, I was honored to craft our servers first Mandalorian Pants.
Which I may add, Corbantis was the first complete suit of all the other servers and pictures was used as official load in screen here.
Corbantis hosted many server contests and one of the contest I participated was the 2003 Cantina of the year, which I won. Decorating Cantina's Guildhalls and homes was one of my favorite things to do, when I was not PVPing with my guildmates in Theed, Lok, Anchorhead. Another one of my favorite things, was to craft Newbie Backpacks for different beginner skills, each pack would come with weapons, crafting tools, a house deed, swoop bike and clothing or armor. Corbantis was a close community and i enjoyed helping newcomers alot. The entire community pitched in the resources for the packs and I crafted and made sure each player who needed them received one.
Pre-CU was when I unlocked 2 jedi's, I enjoyed playing both as I specced each one to a unique build. I can be a sneaky jedi on one going invisible and scoping out rebels overtly hanging out. To a tanking Jedi who can take damage and fight close combat. When the NGE came I quit like most avid players who could not understand the direction SONY was taking the game to, but for a short time I would pop in to say hello in the NGE and attempt to try it out. For those who know me from Corbantis please whisper me and say hello, I will be on either Zorina (my dancer) or Zura my Main. <3

Was originally a holo-grinder with 16 profs, got deployed and came back right after the CU hit. Unlocked via village within a couple of weeks. Played pretty hard core during the whole time I played. Been playing WoW for the last 9 years or so varying between hard core raider and semi-hard core. Looking forward to getting back into SWG. I've followed the project since approx. 2007 and hopped into EMU a couple of times, but never maintained a persistent presence. Also was part of the TrueGalaxies group for a long time, which has mostly gone by the wayside. I will be playing part-time for a while, since I am still in a hard-core WoW guild, but am looking forward to joining a guild and getting my Star Wars on hard core again.

Played from the first weekend after launch until about a year before then end of NGE. Played on Intrepid until the server consolidation, and then went to Starsider. During pre-CU I played Acroyear as my primary, taking each basic profession and seeing what came naturally to me, trying out many Professions during that time. Mastered Politician under the original implementation, mastered Rifleman, Artisan, Marksman, Brawler, Scout, Merchant, etc. before landing on Master Artisan/Master Tailor/Master Shipwright with a smidge of rifles under Marksman, carrying a Krayt enhanced DTL20a for protection during harvester runs. Bought a second account and eventually brought Innkap up to Master Smuggler/MTKA with a bit of Commando. Was guild leader of a smallish (80-100 member) guild on Talus called The Guild of Descendants, and was mayor of Tal'Alderann just SE of Dearic. Did I ever talk to the Old Man? Not once, and frankly if he had come up to me, I was so busy that I probably would have told him to take a number. The Jedi grind has never been a priority for me.
When the CU hit the guild mostly stuck together, but the NGE decimated our ranks like it did to so many other guilds and cities. While it was painful, it did allow me to explore the game more fully, as I did not have to spend as much time managing the guild activities, handling disputes, leading small content raids, etc. Focused a great deal on the space content and completing Kashyyyk and Mustafar content. Career and family took on a larger role for me personally, and after having watched the last of my guild drift off I had little motivation to make time for SWG any longer.
Upon hearing about Awakening, though, I have been extremely enthused. The community is excellent, and I greatly missed the pre-CU. I have taken the same approach with Acroyear 2.0 that I did with the original, to re-experience what made me love the game in the first place. That character is an ongoing learning experience. Innkap Jakk is a more focused effort to recreate a specific character build I really enjoyed. Gropp is likewise similar to his original incarnation on Starsider; he is my roleplay character, who has been injured and limited to being able to verbalize only his name - - when I play him, I have to communicate with /moods and /emotes to give the other player the gist of what he is trying to say. The character who is the newest experience for me is Malpra Tice. I had never really gotten into Medic roles, but I am finding now that I enjoy it for the mix of combat and social activity that it is. Next up may be a CH based character, perhaps with BE, just to explore that aspect of the game as well.
I'm very grateful to the server operators for having set this up for us to enjoy. The community is great, and I am having a blast getting back in the groove of SWG.

While it was painful, it did allow me to explore the game more fully, as I did not have to spend as much time managing the guild activities, handling disputes, leading small content raids, etc. Focused a great deal on the space content and completing Kashyyyk and Mustafar content. Career and family took on a larger role for me personally, and after having watched the last of my guild drift off I had little motivation to make time for SWG any longer.
Upon hearing about Awakening, though, I have been extremely enthused. The community is excellent, and I greatly missed the pre-CU. I have taken the same approach with Acroyear 2.0 that I did with the original, to re-experience what made me love the game in the first place. That character is an ongoing learning experience. Innkap Jakk is a more focused effort to recreate a specific character build I really enjoyed. Gropp is likewise similar to his original incarnation on Starsider; he is my roleplay character, who has been injured and limited to being able to verbalize only his name - - when I play him, I have to communicate with /moods and /emotes to give the other player the gist of what he is trying to say. The character who is the newest experience for me is Malpra Tice. I had never really gotten into Medic roles, but I am finding now that I enjoy it for the mix of combat and social activity that it is. Next up may be a CH based character, perhaps with BE, just to explore that aspect of the game as well.
I'm very grateful to the server operators for having set this up for us to enjoy. The community is great, and I am having a blast getting back in the groove of SWG.

SWG Experience 5 year vet (NGE) I have played on farstar, Eclipse and starsider.. Was leader of Defenders of Light on Eclipse there i was known as Mar'n Jadestar among other alt names Torrin and a few others.. I really hope they bring JTL to SWG Awakening.. its been an adjustment with the Pre-CU interface (since i never experianced it the first time around.) but sure to get the hang of it soon enough..

Profession: I do it all, depends on the day. Since im new to this server, i have various characters with dancer/musician/ID, Rifleman/ Creature Handler/medic, some artisan stuff and training up Doctor. A week from now it will be several other things, but need to be self sufficient first.
Favorite Planet: Overall? That's hard to say, but Ive spent most of my time on Dantooine, when not out doing particular things like hunts, theme parks, pvp, etc.

SWG Experience(How long you played on live or in what update pre-cu/CU/NGE) - Started on live at launch. Unlocked Jedi at 13 profs I think during permadeath. Played as two Jedi Knights on Bloodfin. Anjel was my light side path and did 4xx4 saber, master defender, master healer. Eurokia was my dark side path and had 4xx4 saber, master powers and master enhancement. I started a Jedi only city and a Jedi only clan that were both based in a corner of Dantooine. I think I had like 30 Jedi approximately. Was a fun experience and we had a close knit group of players. Played all the way through to NGE and promptly quit.
