What is the speed cap?
'Speed capped' means that you have enough two-handed weapon speed to attack every second with our slowest special attack (two-handed hit 3). Two-handed weapon speed increases your attack speed exponentially. The more you get the more it increases your attack speed, up to the one second cap after which it is wasted. You cannot attack faster than once per second. Getting speedcapped with swordsman will let you do around four times more damage than a swordsman with no extra speed.
95 two-handed Speed caps you with 6.1 speed weapons You should never end up using a weapon slower than 6.1 speed with Swordsman, So any two-handed speed CA/AA that put you above 95 are wasted and only drive up the price for two-handed speed CA/AA (94 two-handed speed will cap you with all of the swordsman atacks you should be using, area3/spin2 and headhit3. If you want use twohandhit3 for some reason then you'll need 95)
to speedcap with Powerhammers, you need:
Master swordsman + Master Brawler = 15 speed needed from CA/AA
Master swordsman = 20 speed needed from CA/AA
How much two-handed weapon speed do i need to 'cap' with other weapons?

Right 100 would make it so ANY weapon you used would be 1.0 speed for any special but there's no reason you should be using a PH that's slower than 6.1 there for only needing 94 speed. will save you time and trouble rather than hunting down 6 extra points in CA/AA's because that can be extremely hard to find

Good info, but i do have a question. Does this speed calculation hold true for other melee professions, such as pikeman?

each profession is different based on their skills and such there should be a Weapons Calculator i linked in general that you could use to roughly figure it out.
