"I like to be prepared for any eventuality" I say with a faint grin "Never know what you're going to run into" I did my fair share of 'winging it' as it were but if truth be told, I liked to have a plan, I liked to be secure in the knowledge that I could handle anything that the galaxy could throw against me and I liked my little gadgets. After having grown up on a primative world of Dathomir and then being introduced to Coruscant and all its wonders, I'd latched onto technology, taught myself how to use it to the best of my ability and now I don't know where I'd be without it.

Chin jerking up a bit at the 'Can I ask you something?' question "Didn't you just do that?" I snark back with a slight grin. The next bit, however, makes me pause in thought, crouched down next to the parts bag. "I haven't really thought too much about it to be honest" an eyebrow arched up a bit "That's the keyword there..former inquisitor. Before joining the Imperial Army after my Master died, I was a smuggler, a rogue..running spice and blasters and pretty much doing odd jobs for whatever would pay well. You may think you know my style but you've just scratched the surface" I smirk pulling out some tools.

"So you never really said..why're you going to Nar Shaddaa anyway? Meeting up with someone?" I glanced at the comm-link he pulls out of his pocket. Perhaps what was in it for me was distraction..something to keep me busy enough that I wouldn't dwell on my own past too much. Plus all the moving around was useful in keeping myself hidden from those that pursued me. The recent run in with the Imperials didn't really help but Imperials were like roaches. Could never really stomp them out, they kept coming back.

"Besides..I doubt you'd want to stick around me for long once you've gotten to where you need to go. It would probably be safer for us to go separate ways once on Nar Shaddaa. People who associate with me typically end up dead." That comment was my typical pushing people away tactic, not letting anyone in. The closer they get, the more they know me, the more I start to care and all the people I cared about end up dead so it's better just to be alone. Not trust my heart to anyone. I turn my attention back to the repairs.
