I was wondering how to tell a crystals quality? I see the different quality numbers but what makes it a good over a bad?

Only a jedi can check the quality of crystals and pearls

Only white crystals and pearls have a quality rating

its safe to assume that almost all power crystals dropped by elders, councilwoman etc. (MOBS with 200k+ HAM) will drop premium crystals

Not necessarily. Some bounty hunter mission npcs will drop crystals. There are also some 18k-35k ham mobs that have a chance, just lower chance.

Well in the beginning days, the higher the numbers the better the crystal. So if you have a 692 and an 898 the 692 would be far inferior to the 898 on all stats. Guess we will have to wait and find out though!!

here is the deal though .... even a POOR crystal can be an amazing success in tuning. Sounds silly but I had a poor crystal too to max damage and extremely low force cost before. Not sure how it will work here but there is a certain amount of randomness involved in "tuning" them. Also save those crap crystals to grind with. Put your best ones in a saber you use for a BH encounter and slap it in your toolbar. Remember crystals decay so that perfect flawless crystal might die before you have a "flawless" replacement. The only thing I don't recall is if the saber shell decayed too .. I honestly don't ever remember replacing the actual sabers unless i got better resources. So my memory is fuzzy on that.

Crystals and pearls though .... sometimes flawless tune to crap and sometimes poor surprises you .. so don't be shocked when it happens.

I wonder if it might matter where they are tuned and your state of mind...

And what are you doing in space? We don't have JTL yet ... tsk tsk CSi superpowers are not allowed where holocrons are concerned. Hehe

We experimented that on live and IF BF/mind wounds were involved it was slight. As far as where ... I tuned several in various places and still suspect it is a random roll. Maybe your version is different :D. I'll keep that in mind!

My guess is somewhere the force is strong, unless he is just pulling legs again. Enclave, Shrine, Temple Ruins, etc. Besides ... you can't get into an enclave until you are a knight. If you try to go near it as a padawan they will kill you regardless of faction.

Nah you can enter your respective enclaves right now. I went the other day to check and the Dark Jedi sentinals wont attack a combatant imp.

Well then they are most Def. Not working correctly. The enclaves are suppose to be shrouded from "regular" individuals and even padawans, they are suppose to be a place for Jedi who have proved themselves beyond an apprentice/padawan status. This saddens me for sure, I suppose anyone can just walk thru the door as well then? I certainly hope this is returned to the way in which it was intended. I'm not real fond of the Dark Jedi Masters sporting an imperial tag either, Part of the fun in live was when a DJM rolled into the Mining Outpost and wrecked everyone both imperial and rebels.
