I HAVE AN IDEA!!

I kind of have a small idea that would be wonderful. Basically my idea is a sort of Dev Tracker. When the team is working on a patch it would be nice to know what you guys are working on, what you guys are trying, what you guys need help with, and what we can do to help. also offer cake?

No matter how I say this it will come off as mean so here goes. The devs don't have time to do a blog to satisfy the masses. When they do have free time they are coding. Apologies.

How about another thing... just have a DEV/CSR only thread where updates from day 1 to now would be listed, like a list of progress throughout time instead... it would not require any additional time really other than copy paste update details about the previous one in the same thread and since posting those anyways once new content/fixes is added anyway.

I kind of like the idea. It isn't like the wheel would need to be reinvented. There is already an update tracker for the EMU. All they would have to do is modify it for the variations from the EMU to Awakening.
I don't think that dismissing this, as the devs don't have the time, is a sufficient answer. Especially given it is not from an active member of the dev team.
So, I would like to hear a constructive reason from Ed and company as to why or why not this is possible. I like being able to see where we are at. I know some things are great as surprises, but it would be nice to know the overall path of the server.

After having spoken with the Dev team they simply don't have time for this right now. While I can understand players thirst for information it's just not something that is going to happen at this time. Perhaps once the new web design has been implemented, but for now a simple no will have to suffice.
