Hello everyone!

I was maybe in my mid teens when my brother introduced me to SWG. It has been my favorite MMO since. I have watched the SWGEMU over the past few year's. Last time I saw the SWGEMU is was before CH and many professions where working let alone the missions.

After about a week or so on Basilisk I looked into other severs. I found out about awakening. I like almost all Ive seen.

Welcome! Glad you found the server. It is really the most supportive group of folks out there. Just note that most of the NPC cities, save Mos Eisley, are pretty just used as transit. The action is at player cities around the galaxy. If you have any questions or need help getting settled in, The Journeymen <TJM> are always willing to assist. Look forward to seeing you in game.

Come check us out in Bedrock (Entertainment district) and Mos Crumpit (research center), Tatooine. We have all the basic profession trainers, buffs, vendors, etc... AND the most beautiful location on Tatooine!

Welcome to Awakening! You have made a great choice in server. This community is fantastic. You will start out in neutral chat, feel free to give a shout out there, as well as ask any questions you may have.

If you ever need anything, please feel free to contact myself or any member of <MG>. You can pretty much always find some of us in our home bases of Tuskens Bane, Tatooine (research center) and now New Destiny, Corellia (ent district). We are always happy to help players both returning and brand new. Both cities feature 24/7 buffing services, solo groups, as well as a plethora of shops with just about everything you need to get you going.

Players here mostly hang out in player cities. Major player city hubs include(but are not limited to):
Tatooine - Bedrock, Tuskens Bane
Naboo - Serenity, Con Diarmid
Corellia - New Destiny, Mon Cala

When you are able, I highly recommend you travel the galaxy and visit every player city you can. Not only will you meet great people, but you will see some amazing deco, and find out just how diverse the galaxy is! May you live long and prosper here on Awakening!

Funny enough I was attempting to find someone and traveled to Mos Eisley. I might have to make a run towards those player cities.

Also forgot how much of a brick the X-31 is to fly....

Hey there!

I recommend stopping by Bedrock. Talk to Salt, Absinthe, Suga, or one of the TJM folks. They like to help new players get established and can re-introduce you to that game you loved so long ago.

Be safe on your travels through the dunes though. Things have changed. Sand people can one-shot your speeder and you. Avoid at all cost!

Welcome to Awakening! We have a great set of people on our server.. shout out if in Neutral if you need any help!!!

There are a number of good towns and guilds. Personally I would start with what planet you like best and go from there. If you plan on being a crafter you want a crafting Research town, preferably one that has ties to a town that has plenty of merchants to sell your wares. If mainly for adventuring go with a Entertainment district for 3 hour buffs.. just make sure there's a 24/7 entertainer and a doc set up there, or a Improved job market for more cash.

I hold Serenity Naboo (Entertainment district) and also we hold Haven Naboo 1k down the road which is research. I can tell you we always are open to new players and happy to help you along. No matter where you decide, if you need help feel free to reach out and ask!
