I just noticed in my combat logs that when my rifleman blocks an attack my armor still takes damage and I can get wounded. I don't take any HAM damage other than the wound. I am quite sure this is occurring because it can happen if the mob only gets one swing before it dies. It is not random, but happens on each block. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this? Perhaps an EMU bug or only Awakening specific? Just wanted some feedback before I submit a bug report.

Hey,i think y take damage cuz a successfull block do half damage to you.If you are buffed,i think you dont see the damage.
Just an idea..if can help

Yeah block is supposed to stop half of the damage not nullify it completely hence the armor and wound dmg.

Thanks for the replies. I did find a reference to how block works on another site. It seems appears it does indeed only block 50%. All this time I thought it worked like dodge and blocked it all.
