Is the Crafted Armor Color Kit available on the Awakening server? That would be a blast, if it's out there for the getting. Believe it was part of the SONY SWG Game Update 10 which made it possible to purchase the schematic from a dealer for 65 Meatlump Lumps.

I assume that just allows recoloring armor (I wasn't around for NGE content), in which case composite and mando armor can be recolored at will if they're unequipped.

The kit allowed the owner to change the color of their armor from its original. Just like the Droid and Vehicle Customization Kits. As far as I can remember, it could change the color of ANY armor (except Bone).

As Royan stated, the kit is not needed. Just unequip your armor, activate the radial menu and then choose your color.

But wookiee and ithorian armor cant be re-colored and are quite popular.
