Tuskens Bane’s 2nd Year Anniversary Celebration
It has been two years since a small group of people ventured off into the wild southern reaches of Tatooine and wrested control of an area of land from the Tusken Raiders to build a home. It was a challenge to maintain security for the residents and allow the village to grow. More and more people came to join the adventure and the village prospered and grew into the metropolis we call home today. Please come and join us on Saturday, April 8th for a day of celebration and events and help us mark the day we took back Tatooine from the wild savages that once controlled the area.
Celebrations will be starting from 11A.M EST. Here is the list of times and events throughout the day with added details.
11 A.M EST: Costume Contest
12 P.M EST: Fireworks Display
12:30 PM EST: Bantha Race
2 PM EST: 2 vs 2 PVP Contest
3:30 PM EST: Cocktail Contest
4 PM EST: PVE Event
6 PM EST: 1 Vs 1 PVP Contest

There will be 3-4 judges assigned to judging the winners, the judges will be players from outside of the guild. If you wish to participate in the contest or be up for consideration to be a judge, please contact Turin or Wickedtemper via mail in game to register to be a contestant, or to be a judge up to 15 minutes before it starts.

12 PM EST: Firework Display: Around the main square of Tuskens Bane
Badabing will be hosting the firework display to celebrate the city’s 2nd Anniversary. It will be a fantastic show so don't miss it.
12:30 PM EST: Bantha Race:Around the city perimeter
Ankton will be hosting the bantha race. There will be a track set up around the city or throughout(not giving much away), you can either bring your own bantha or we can supply banthas for anyone wishing to enter. If you wish to participate in the race please contact Ankton or Turin via mail in game up to 15 minutes before the event starts

2:00 PM EST: 2 vs 2 PVP Contest: Tooth and Nail (Waypoint: -3644 -6988)
Feuwei will be hosting this event, teams of 2 people enter the arena to face off against another team of 2, the winners are the team who kill both their opponents. Each guild may enter 2 separate teams so 4 members of each guild can participate. The tooth and nail has a built-in pvp arena where the fights will take place. Here are some of the rules of this contest.
[align=center]Fights will last 5 minutes
If a fight goes over 5 minutes the match will restart and participants will remove armor and continue
No outside buffs beforehand,CSR's will be providing buffs before you enter the arena to maintain an even playing field for participants
No outside interference, if there is any could cause your team to be disqualified
Contestants must stay in the arena at all times once the fight starts, if you leave the arena you will be disqualified
No Jedi Entrants
Pretty much anything else goes[/align]
The winning team will be the first to deathblow both their opponents,draws for the brackets will be drawn shortly before the event starts. If you wish to participate in the 2 vs 2 PVP Contest please contact Feuwei or Turin via mail in game up to 15 minutes before the event starts

We have some of the best chef's, food crafters and mixologists in the entire galaxy! Let's show everyone what spices we have up our sleeves! Join us for the First Annual Tuskens Bane's Anniversary Chef Mixology Event (Contest)!
[align=center]There will be four (4) different categories to enter:
+ Best stat/skill modification of Vasarian Brandy (Drink)
+ Best stat/skill modification of Synthsteak (Food)
+ Most unique name (Drink)
+ Most unique name - (Food)
The food and drink in the Best Stat/Mod category MUST be those items, but can be renamed if the maker chooses, but cannot qualify in more than one category at a time. The food and drink in the Most unique naming section may be the choice of the chef/mixologist but must use/contain AT LEAST three ingredients for food and two ingredients for the drink to qualify. Only one entry per person per category (i.e., one person can enter each category only one time). Duplicate entries will be disqualified/destroyed.
Entries may be submitted at any time up to and including the date of the Anniversary Event. Entries can be submitted to the vendor located in Tusken Bane Ni'Berry Farm Cafe' located at (-3846, 7044).
Judging will take place at 3:30pm EST on April 8, 2017 by Master Chef Nissa Cegal of Tusken Bane's MG guild and two others. Winners will be notified by mail by Nissa and announced on the website. Entries received after the above date/time will not qualify and will not be judged. All entries will be put on display in the Cafe' for judging and viewing purposes.
There will be two winners per category as follows (total 8 winners):
++ 1st prize: 250K + a resource bag of their choice
++ 2nd prize: 50K + a resource bag of their choice

4 PM EST: Tusken Bane PVE EVENT: To be held throughout the city
[align=center]It has been one year since the Tusken Raiders experienced a humiliating defeat in Tuskens Bane. Increased Tusken activity has been reported around city limits, and more and more Jawa refugees seek asylum within our borders. In exchange, these refugees tell us they have overheard rumors while in Wayfar that the Tuskens have reportedly made some shady deals with other major players. While we do not know who these major players are, Mayor Laschana has asked that all citizens of the galaxy be on the lookout for a possible attack on Tuskens Bane, and be ready to defend our fair city should the need arise.

8 PM EST:Star Wars Quiz: Ankton’s Mustafarian Bunker 3rd Floor bar area (Waypoint: -3873 -7172)
The Quiz will be hosted by Feuwei and the structure of the quiz is as follows: There will be 3 tiers of the questions. Each tier contestants will drop off depending on how you score. The quizmaster will be keeping track of everyone's points throughout the first,second and third tier. In the event of a tie, if a tie does occur there are some sudden death questions that may stump even the mega Star Wars fans. If you wish to be a participant in the quiz please contact Feuwei or Turin via mail in game up to 15 minutes before the event starts
[align=center]There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize, 10 bags of prizes to choose from, 1st place will win 2 million credits and choice of 3 bags, 2nd place will get a choice of 2 bags, and 3rd place will get choice of 1 bag. All the bags will contain very nice loot. [/align]
9 PM EST:Tusken Rave: The Dancing Bantha Cantina (Waypoint: -3883 -7074)
There will be live entertainers and dancers playing for us all, a vendor will be set up in the lottery tent selling full tusken raider outfits. For those species that cannot wear the tusken outfit Laschana has made special tusken clothing for people to be able to get in gift bags that will also be available in the lottery tent. We will be raving into the small hours to send off these celebrations with a bang!
Other Key Information
[align=Center]At random times throughout the day we will be hosting Chair's of Chance; our own take on dice of death. These will be hosted at the city hall (Waypoint: -3931 -7191). Just keep an eye out for when this gets announced to be in for a chance of winning great prizes, this will be hosted by Caledonian.
If you have ever been to previous MG events, you will know we have a Lottery tent just to the right of the shuttleport. This event is no different! For those who don't know (waypoint:-3928 -7088), there will be 100's of lottery bag's available to purchase with lots of great things inside of them, we do ask that only 1 bag per toon please so everyone can experience it. There will also be gift bags made up by Laschana on a vendor in the tent to get you into the swing of the day. Lastly, the lotto tent will contain a vendor to purchase your tusken raider outfits to dress up and take home with you.
