Dark Citadel is under new management and we are looking for people interested in taking part in the revival of this once great city. We have long been known as a favorite grinding location for aspiring bounty hunters due to an IJM specialization and close proximity to SpyNet Operatives of all levels. With publish 8 came a sharp decline in our BH traffic and we made a decision to change our city specialization. We are now a Scientific Society for increased doctor and entertainer buffs. Faction bases have also been placed within the borders for an additional bonus to buff power, with an Imperial base to the SW and a Rebel base to the NE.

We are hoping to attract new citizens and - for a limited time - I will be offering a free small house and 50k in prepaid maintenance to anyone interested. Anyone wishing to bring their own house will still be eligible for the maintenance offer. If you are interested in citizenship, please contact me via PM or contact me in game.

We are also looking for merchants, entertainers, and doctors to provide services to visitors. These are critical components of maintaining a healthy population in a city, and I am willing to do whatever I can to assist players that are interested in setting up shop. Contact me in game to discuss.

Still looking for new citizens!! I've noticed there have been structures placed just outside of our city limits recently. To their owners: I invite you to contact me for zoning rights to become citizens of our fine city! There are no property taxes in Dark Citadel and you will be helping keep our city strong.

I'm usually on in some form during those hours. Free small naboo housing is available for any new residents who need it.

We didn't lose it, we made the difficult decision to change our specialization to a scientific society. While we would love to continue on as an IJM and keep our niche, it is becoming increasingly difficult to survive and needed to change in an attempt to attract more citizens and vendors to our fine city. The fact is that most players tend to go where the best buffs are available on a consistent basis - and the vendors go where the players are. We need to attract some of that traffic, and we are hoping that some of those players begin to take root in our city.

Any objections to this decision will be considered if voiced by a resident of DC.

That would be me. While I can't spend as much time as I used to in game, I can make it a point to log in and help get you set up. I'm in EST and evenings usually work best for me but I'm also pretty flexible. Send me a forum PM some days/times that would work to meet in game.
