Theater Manager Quest for Entertainer

Hey everyone,

The last 3-4 days i have been doing the theater manager quest for the first time and i have had lots of fun doing it also on nienor my entertainer, ill go into more detail below with a mini walkthrough but want to say a massive thanks to the community who supported and helped me do this quest one of the most fun quests i have done in game.

So this walkthrough was requested by Davos (stepo) so here goes:

The quest can be started from any theater manager across the galaxy they can be located in the theater guild hall where the entertainer,dancer and musician trainers in NPC cities are usually situated, i have tended to use the coronet one which can be found at -230 -4214, now this quest there is 7 parts in total, DOES NOT matter if you do one part in coronet then another in another city or planet they are all linked and will remember your progress so far.

Before starting you can do this quest at any level of entertainer, i do recommend that you do get at least 1xxx in musician or dancer though just to make life easier at the live shows so you can use the dazzler and colours lights.

When you first talk to the theater manager and enquire about the quest she will ask you if you wish to do the dancer or musician quest, you have to do both to get 2 seperate rewards(Revealed later). I chose the dancer side first.

If at any time you fail any of these parts you will have to wait 24 HOURS to do it again.

Before you start part 1 i do suggest sorting your toolbar out, i have flourish 1-8 situated on my top toolbar and then the emotes such as dazzler, coloured lights just below them, at f11 and below i had the start dance or start music depending what quest your doing and stop music just below it.
Then at f12 i have a macro made up that once pressed can change the dance or music, these are easy macros to set up you just make a new macro and put /changemusic or /changedance.

This makes life easy for changing mid song or dance once you have started. I also suggest taking an accragm to help keep your action steady throughout the performances.

Part 1: You have 30 seconds to get to the stage area there make sure you stand in front of the table with the 3 judges are sat, keep an eye on the system message to come up and say it is starting once it starts make sure you have pressed start dance or music so your menu options with the different dances or songs have appeared so you are ready to press them.
Keep an eye on the judges and follow what they say, the first part is very simple they usually start by asking you to play such a song or dance then ask you to do this flourish and then another flourish before changing to another dance or song.
Aslong as you have followed there instructions there will be a system message saying you have been successful.

Now head back to the theater manager.

Part 2: You have to get 10 people to watch you for this part, does not matter who it is, for this part i logged on my 9 alts and got them to watch me and grabbed a passerby or a guildie to assist me with this.
Every time someone watches/listens to you a system message comes up and confirms that person has and your number will go down, Once this is done it will say congratulations you have achieved rank 1 of popularity.
For this just do any dance or music, NO flourishes needed, NO grouping is needed either.

Now head back to the theater manager.

Part 3: Live Show: You usually have 120 seconds from talking to the theater manager to get to the stage now use this time wisely go out to the crowd and make sure you have a spare pen and paper, unless you got a good memory. speak to all of the crowd, a lot will say generic rubbish at you but some will say i love this flourish or this song, make a note of this. Also some may say they don't like this song or that flourish make a note of that also.
When you have 30 seconds left start making your way onto the stage and make sure you stand in the middle of the stage as to far to either side of stage can sometime cancel the quest out.

The first live show lasted for 2 minutes if i remember right, always start with the song or dance the crowd like and the flourishes they like, switch between dances and music they like every 20 seconds, make sure you are doing flourishes constantly aswell as hitting some emotes in there also to get the crowd excited.

Don't feel like you only have to do the 1-2 songs the crowd love mix it up and keep it fresh, i tended to go with the fans choices then a neutral then a fans choice. Just make sure you DO NOT do the dances/songs or flourishes they dont like, every 30-40 seconds a system message will appear saying how the crowd reaction is to pass you need to get that reaction to satisfied and keep it there, anything less will fail that part and a 24 hour wait until next try.

Now once you get the success message on this head back to theater manager.

Part 4: Get 20 people to watch/listen to you, same as i did in the 10 people i got alts to assist, this is when you call in favours from guildies and friends, and if you dont have that support i parked nienor in coronet starport near ticket collector and had a macro every 2 minutes stating that i am doing a entertainer quest could you please watch or listen to me for 2 seconds to help pass, do state also that they do not need to be grouped, and that they can /listen or /watch also.

Once you get 20 people head back to the theater manager.

Part 5: Another Live Show: Every time the next live show happens the crowd have more demands so make sure you speak to them again and there will be more of them also, you get 150 seconds to speak to them do exactly same as stated in part 3.

Now head back to the theater manager.

Part 6: Get 30 People to watch/listen to you, follow same instructions as in part 4.

Now head back to the theater manager.

Part 7: The Final Live show: This is the hardest of them all, but you have 180 seconds to speak to the crowd make sure you make the most of it, and follow instructions from part 3 and 5.

Now head back to the theater manager.

Once this final part is done time to claim your rewards:

If you chose dancer you will get a scroll to learn theatrical dance
If you chose music you get a scroll to learn the western song.

To learn both you must have 400k xp stashed up for both.

Also the scrolls cannot be transfered or dropped in houses or offered to vendors. For now i have placed mine in my bank and have learned both.

So to conclude i hope alot more people take the time to do this quest was lots of fun and remember must be done twice to get both rewards and there is a 24 hour wait if any fail on the live shows. Don't worry about the watch/listen parts as it remembers your progress if say you get 9 and need 11 more, there is no timer on them.

The theatre manager still says she's too busy to talk to me after part one

Weird I did part 1 for the fifth time this morning and she worked fine. Sometimes I'd get that message just after the show or auction but I dialogues with her few more tries and she was fine

Been like this a few days now mate...tried various theatres too. Not to worry, there will be a fix or a workaround soon enough.
