New to server

Hi all I'm a returning player of Galaxies playing the original format of game for around 6 months before the combat update. Of which I didn't mind until the game went really tits up with the awful NGe
Have a few questions before I get started.. concerning game advancement.

Before you reach master in any chosen profession you had to search out someone to train you in that profession. It that still the same.
I've also noticed the venders are empty. How do you obtain new weapons as you advance in experience.
Are there only certain professions available to follow in order to reach master having access to weapon and skill upgrades. And players available for training

Before you reach master in any chosen profession you had to search out someone to train you in that profession? yes and no..you can have another player train you in everything minus novice and you do not need app. points to train master

How do you obtain new weapons as you advance in experience? bazaar and search the many pages of vendors across the server. select vendors and galaxy in the tabs up top//or ask in general chat and someone will direct you, most of the time people will tell you look at the bazaar. sometimes people miss what you are asking for here. you can also befriend someone ih game..they might give you something to use..most people will tip you credits and tell you to go buy it yourself

Are there only certain professions available to follow in order to reach master having access to weapon and skill upgrades? you asking wether you can use a weapon or not? im pretty sure that you can equip anything, youll just get an error saying you are not qualified and you wont do the damage the weapon says it can do.

Welcome home! Glad you found the server. It is really the most supportive group of folks out there. Just note that most of the NPC cities, save Mos Eisley, are pretty just used as transit. The action is at player cities around the galaxy. If you have any questions or need help getting settled in, The Journeymen <TJM> are always willing to assist. We look forward to seeing you in game.

You will really enjoy the server. Folks are helpful, and want to have fun. This server is a little harder than others, but it is balanced and fun. Check out the player cities. There are vendors all over the place. Bedrock kind of caters to the newbie crowd. Lots of starter weapons in vendors, foods, armors, etc...

Come check us out in Bedrock (Entertainment district) and Mos Crumpit (research center), Tatooine. We have all the basic profession trainers, buffs, vendors, etc... AND the most beautiful location on Tatooine! Come get your grind on!

Sorry just one more question.. I've noticed the space terminals and ship crafting stations.
Is the space expansion available. ( jump to light speed)
